He has not only provided extraordinary medical care for my wife, but he has become a source of strength, advocacy, and genuine compassion throughout our most difficult times in our lives.From the very beginning, Dr. Dauer took the time to see us, not just as a patient and her husband, but as two human beings trying to navigate something overwhelming. His knowledge and skill as a vascular specialist are unquestionable, but what sets him apart is his heart. He listened. He explained. He never rushed. And more than once, he went out of his way to accommodate us, whether that meant adjusting his schedule or simply picking up the phone when we needed guidance.There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude.

Dr. Dauer is one of the best doctors at Regional Memorial Hospital. I had my son with a bad ankle sprain and vascular injury, and Dr Dauer exceeded in compassion, knowledge, and expertise with his medical problem. Strong ethical standards and excellent problem-solving skills are the core of his medical team. I have an immense appreciation for Dr. Dauer and his group.

I am a 62-year-old ESRD patient, on catheter access for over 6 months. My catheter became occluded and I needed to go to the vascular clinic to have it swapped out for a new one. One of the discussions involved a fistula, and if I was getting one or a fistula. I told them that I wasn't sure what to do and asked a few questions. They explained that a fistula is better than a graft. They said that they do many repairs of both fistulas and grafts. I asked them an important question. Who does the best work? Who do you repair the least? They said. Hands down. Dr. Marc Dauer. I don't like general anesthesia. They used a nerve block and local. I was awake for the entire procedure. Listened to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and chilled. The access healed quickly. The scar is hidden in my "elbow pit" and is an almost invisible 2 inches long!(others I've seen have scars 2 feet long!) After maturing, the fistula is being expanded for dialysis. All is well! Thanks Dr. Dauer!
