This “doctor” actually threatened me with a voluntary 3-day commitment or “putting me someplace for as long as he deemed fit”…he hounded me to commit me under his care while at Bryn Mawr Hospital, whenever I was an inpatient for legitimate gastrointestinal/medical challenges; which by the way later was classified as a pancreatic rest and severe gastroparesis. All of which carry the same symptoms I presented with. I was informed by BMH staff that people the likes of him get ranked/rewarded/ etc for the number of people they commit and their goal isn’t for helping people but getting as many as they can put away regardless of their needs or respective to the nuances of their respective cases. He needs to be board reviewed and his entire history under scrutiny. He’s despicable in every way I can imagine and I’d never recommend him to counsel a bologna sandwich. He’s a charlatan…total fraud and disgrace to his profession.

Causes additional pain and suffering
Telehealth
This doctor has caused SO MUCH harm to my family. By not making the correct and ethical choice he has caused a family of 5 to subjected to a horrific cycle of pain and mental strife!! He does not return calls to the POA when requested. He has single handedly waisted valuable resources because of his poor choice.

This guy is awful. He "evaluated" me when I came to the ER as a suicidal thirteen year old, stayed for a total of five minutes, and told me I had a "creepy smile", when I was scared out of my mind and laughing as a defense mechanism. Doctor, please work on your bedside manner.

Dr Burock is one of the most impressive physicians I have ever dealt with. His discussion with a family member considering ECT treatments was deeply informed, even-handed, compassionate,empathic, generous, and perceptive. When she finally, despite trepidations, decided to initiate treatments, he was there for her, supportive and reassuring as I have never encountered before. I consider her most lucky to have been treated by Dr. Burock, and would unhesitatingly recommend him to everyone I know
