Dr. Anderson double billed me twice. He had been my family doctor and asthma specialist for a couple of years. During my physical in 2018, I asked a question that I thought was relevant. He billed me for 2 appointments for the one visit. I found it frustrating. I asked him to let me know if a question was not part of a physical before blindsiding me with a double billing. A year later I visited him for my asthma. I started medicare and was eligible for my Medicare Initial Preventive Physical Exam (MIPPE). I did not request nor want it at that time. During my asthma visit he asked if I was up to date on my immunizations. He recommended a test that he said medicare would pay for. After blood was drawn and I was preparing to leave, the nurse said there was another test which Dr. Anderson wanted me to have but had not discussed. He subsequently billed me for my asthma visit plus MIPPE. (The MIPPE is well defined and I did not receive it.) He promised to cancel the charges but never did.

Was my primary doctor for at least a year or so. Very mixed feelings because when I first started going I feel like he was very attentive and kind. After my last visit and phone interaction with him I will never go again. I had told him one of the medications he prescribed were having side effects making my original issue much worse, and he doubled my dosage. I tried it anyway and had the worst time of my life. Called to see how to wean off of it so they said they'd call back. Calls asking why and I responded, "I told him during my last visit the side effects were effecting me heavily so he should know why." Got another call and the receptionist told me they were going to stop prescribing a different prescription, which had actually been helping, if I wanted to stop the other. Words were exchanged and I got my prescription still. Just doesn't seem to care much anymore and comes off very judgmental instead of helping with the issue.

I've never met him before but felt highly judged when he came in and throughout the exam. Any questions or requests for clarification were met with terse incomplete remarks. He did not want me there.
