Dr. Marat Grigorov, DO

I recently was referred to Dr Grigorov by my Primary Physician, I had been in pain for 4 1/2 years and going to pain management and getting little to no relief from many procedures. The best thing in the world was to go to Dr Grigorov Dr Grigorov fused my left SI joint and a month later my right SI joint. I am pain free! Dr Grigorov and has staff answered every questions I had and answered every call I made. I highly recommend Dr Grigorov and his staff to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grigorov’s and in excellent hands for a while. His knowledge and expertise give me great confidence and he explains everything involved with a procedure. He listens and makes visits very pleasant and satisfying. His staff is incredibly on board in every aspect and keeps you informed in all regards involving your situation. This office is everything you could wish for.

Dr Grigorov is a great surgeon. He is precise and knowledgeable. He spends time with his patients. I highly recommend him!

Was there a total of 10 minutes. Did nothing for me. Offered no tests, imaging or solutions. Dr talked to me for about 2 minutes. Billed my insurance $2264.00. Insane. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I’ve been visiting Dr Grigorov’s office for a couple months. Office employees are great and very helpful with smiling faces and very polite. The offices (Venice/Port Charlotte) are very clean. As for Dr Grigorov, he takes his time and listens to your injury complaints. He explains your findings from your test results thoroughly and explains your options. Yes, I went forward with the lumbar surgery. I had issues walking and NOW eight months later I’m feeling fantastic!! Started my first day of light tennis and very excited and feeling great. Thank you to Dr Grigorov and his employees for taking the time and making this seem easy!!

Prompt in seeing me once diagnosed by family physician

I had back and neck surgery and would rate Dr Grigorov as top notch. He answered all my questions and put me at ease going into surgery and was readily available to answer questions and provide guidance on measures to take during recovery.

My experience with Dr. Grigorov was very positive. I was referred to him by another doctor for a pinched nerve in my back, and had been in pain for almost a year when I walked or stood for any length of time. After Dr. Grigorov reviewed my MRI, he recommended surgery. Dr. Grigorov performed a laminectomy for a herniated disk, and the results were immediate. No more pain! It’s been 2 months since my surgery, and I am very happy with the results. I’m able to walk and bike and enjoy doing all the fun things in life. When I asked the doctor if this disk problem could happen again, he stated that it was possible, but to just “live my life”. I would highly recommend Dr. Grigorov.

Dr. Grigorov and his staff are fantastic folks. Dr. Grigorov listens to the patient and then talks about treatment choices. Very thorough ad informative. He suggests options rather than jump right to surgery. The staff is friendly and heresy to deal with. I highly recommend this office.

Dr Grigorov is an excellent spinal surgeon!! You owe it to yourself to at least consult with him if you are needing any back surgery. I had seen seven neurosurgeons in three states and none of them would even attempt to help me. Dr Grigorov explained everything to me including how complex and dangerous and painful my surgery would be. He did an excellent job on my lumbar spine. He followed up with me every two months until my X-ray showed healing was going as expected. He is confident but not cocky as I have found other surgeons have been. He helped me so much that I have come down on pain meds to one fourth of what I was on for thirty years. I am very pleased with the results. He is very talented and our goal is to get me off all pain meds.

Easy to speak with. He explains well. Listens good. Recommends treatment plan with consideration for patient input.

Surgery to remove the disc and bone spurs and caging the bones above and below to stabilize them was conducted at The Doctors Hospital in Sarasota. That day, once the surgery was completed Dr Grigorov visited me in my room and I was able to get up and walk without pain shooting down my legs and lower back. The next few days flew by and the slight discomfort I experienced after surgery was recognized as healing, feeling alive again. It's been two weeks now since the surgery and the difference is night and day. I thank Dr Grigorov, his staff at the Neurosurgical Institute and all the wonderful people at the Doctor's Hospital and my home nurse and physical therapist that Dr Grigorov arranged, for their incredible help and dedication to making me well again. He has done 2 surgeries on me. The first one worked, but then more problems arose due to my bad genetics and he quickly got those fixed as well! He was very prompt, always in contact, and on top of my care. When I had to go to the ER for pain management before my surgery, he even called the ER and instructed them on exactly how to help me so I didn't get misdiagnosed or treated as a pillhound. He is fantastic to work with!

Dr. Grigorov is amazing! I was suffering from a pinched nerve and after two failed procedures with other doctors, I had surgery with Dr. Grigorov. My nerve pain was gone after surgery! And my incision looks really good, very thin! On my follow up, I could see the pride in his eyes when he checked me. He is very dedicated and professional! Thank you Dr. Grigorov! You are the best!
