Dr. Maogang Shao, MD

Rude, nasty person. I only saw him in the hospital. He signed my discharge papers at 8:30 in the evening after my daughter had left as she had to catch a train home and we had been waiting all day. He said he just got results from MRI when. The hospital report clearly stated he had the results at 3PM. I had to drive myself home still as sick as when I went in 2 days earlier.

Terrible, hes rude obnoxious

How is this person even a doctor? And how does the Providence Tarzana Medical Center even keep someone like this in their staff? He has the worst bed side manners. He was openly smirking implying that my father made up his symptoms. He discharged him in the middle of the night without any proper instructions or heart/blood pressure medications. He was getting annoyed when I was asking him questions. I suggest change of profession if caring for people bothers and inconvenience you so much.

Terrible experience with this man. He treated my father at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. Each time he checked in he was aggravated that my dad was there. He rushed my father out of the hospital and discharged him without proper procedures. He made errors on the discharge paperwork, prescriptions, and openly mocked me for asking questions about my father's after care. Due to the errors and his refusal to answer phone calls my dad had no needles for his insulin nor any pain meds for 2 days.
