Great Experience!
I have suffered with severe knee pain for years. Orthopedic tells me I need a knee replacement but they don’t want to do it until I’m 57, I still have 7 years to go yet and have had this issues for about 4 years. Dr. Lopez and his staff have been the only office that has ever tried to help me deal with the pain and have some quality off life. Dr. Lopez has done two test ablations on my knee and they have helped tremendously. I’m set for the final one in a couple of weeks. I’m so excited. They exhibit compassion toward their pts and they don’t treat you like you’re a drug addicted like most places. They truly want to help. Thank you Dr Lopez and staff for giving me my life back!

I am very happy with Dr. Lopez's care. There is a plan and it's easy to get an appointment for procedures and follow up visits. I am very surprised by the negative reviews, I have never had any problems like those mentioned.

Horrible Doctor
My husband went to Dr Lopez(if you want to call him a doctor) after being referred to pain management). As he was suffering with unbearable pain from reoccurring cellulitis and stenosis of the spine. Lopez didn’t even look at his extremely swollen legs but asked if he wanted injections in his spine. He then went on to tell him he would likely be paralyzed without surgery. He then left the room and called him in a script for a child to be taken every 6 to 8 hours. My husband is a 6 ft 235 lb. man. The medicine was a joke it didn’t touch the pain. After another visit he was given a old anti depressant ! When he called to say he was still in severe pain he was told he couldn’t be seen for five days. My only hope for Mr. Lopez is that he will find himself in the kind of pain my husband has suffered and be denied adequate pain relief. I am calling the American Medical Association on this doctor he should not be allowed to practice medicine.

On Satisfied
I don't think this office is capable of working with patients who need medical treatment for their ailments making excuses ( lucky they don't work in a big city office )about being short staff ok cry me river on that one. The girl at the front desk seems to be in a different world when you get there she never knows anything even when looking at the computer screen. I got my first Epidural Steroid shot after 7 weeks of waiting and they never put in the request with my insurance because I called them to ask ( mean while Lopez office told me it would take about 5 days ). So now I'm waiting on my second injection and its been weeks again and my insurance tells me they have not received any request for approval for my next shot. I call their office to see whats going on and left a message and no call back yet. Well Goodbye never doing that again I found a better place .

Dreadful bedside manner
I was excited for my referral to "Dr" Lopez. He was supposed to be some kind of great, compassionate, knowledgeable "pain management" doctor. I thought he was the 1st time I met him. By the time I had the 2nd injection in my neck I knew this man was a little off his rocker. He has absolutely no bed side manner or compassion for his patients. I'm pretty sure this is all about money for him. I've had steroids injections in my neck off and on since 2004. Let me say he is the worst. He does not let the numbing medication take effect...(so what's the point)? When you are laying there helpless, crying in pain, he's telling you to "be still"...."you have to be still!" And when you can't take the pain any longer he will get mad...throw down the needle and storm out of the room like a child saying "ok we're done here". Yes.... TERRIBLE experience. I'm worse off now than i was before I went into his practice. New Ct Scans tomorrow. His staff is a resemblance of him.

Would not recommend
I filled out all the information on line including my insurance information and when I entered the girl immediately took my cards and copied them and gave them back to me and I sat down. A minute later the lady called me up to the desk and told me that I have a co-pay. I told her that I never have co-pays with my two insurances and after she stared at the screen for a while she said oh OK. The visit was very fast and I met Dr. Lopez for possibly five minutes. Second visit lady at the front desk told me I had a co-pay which I did not. After 5 visits and still in pain I switched drs. was not happy with the wait time and while I was waiting in a back room I could hear the lady at the front desk taking money from everyone, saying they had copay’s. Many elderly would not even question this and just paid. Hopefully this was legitimate and not just the elderly never questioning. I saw dr Lopez very briefly and was told by front desk “this is a very busy office”. Not my problem.

Dr. Lopez seemed to be in a hurry during my initial appointment. He suggested procedures but didn’t have time to talk to me about them, didn’t answer my questions. He scheduled the procedures without having any of my medical history or records which included similar procedures which failed. Office staff is not patient friendly, very poor communication.
