Dr. Manuel Bornia, MD

In my 66 yrs i have never come across such an unprofessional physician. He not only tod me i was lying about previous treatments, he went on to fat shame me. And finally lost it and raised his voice saying he was not interested in what i had to say about my parents because he was treating me. The staff was friendly but took awhile to gat an appt.

this is the most disrespectful so called doctor i have met in 66 years. he said i could be lying, followed that up by fat shaming me. and his final words were he was not interested in my parents experience, he was treating me. with so many wonderdul doctors in the atlatis area. i do not think anyone needs to be debased by a medical professional.

The staff members are rude, disrespectful and incompetent. The manager disrespects me along with my mother the doctor was there and not once did he intervene to prevent the escalation of the incident. I would not encourage anyone to go to that office.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bornia for 10+ years and am provided the best medical care. I am always treated with kindness and compassion by Dr. Bornia and his staff. Dr. Bornia takes time to discuss illness, medications, tests and follows up. He is super helpful and willing to answer any questions or concerns; and, always gives suggestions above and beyond providing a prescription to make me healthy & better. I always seek his advice on anything regarding my health and trust him 100% with my medical care. In addition, Dr. Bornia’s staff are always pleasant and willingly assists with making lab appointments or referrals to specialist when needed.

Dr. Bornia has been our family PCP for over 15 years and we could not recommend him more highly. He is an old fashioned, no nonsense kind of doctor you want when you need real care and treatment. He listens, he understands his patient needs and he is effective in treating them. No drug pushing, no sales, no bs, he literally saved my life. We are grateful for his care, his team and the attention they have given us. We are in better health because he is our doctor, I encourage anyone to experience it.

I definitely understand why Dr. Manuel Bornia has a poor reputation in the online review community. I have a loved one with special needs who came to this physician for an initial visit. He was extremely dismissive and not willing to take the time to access his needs. He stated “I am not a Psychiatrist”. He also refused to complete paperwork to justify services for a person who is obviously profoundly disabled. I would never bring my loved one to a Primary Care Physician assuming he is a Psychiatrist. Judging from the way Dr. Bornia treated a disabled patient I assumed he was subhuman, never mind a psychiatrist! This “ Physician” (and I use that term loosely) has terrible beside manner. Based on the long list of poor reviews and based on how he treated my loved one, Dr. Bornia doesn’t understand his assignment! I am horrified at his animalistic treatment of one of God’s most precious creations. Please do not choose this PCP especially if your loved one has special needs.

Terrible doctor. I agree with other reviewers. He is Rude. Condescending. Doesn’t listen. Rushed you out. Won’t help over the hone. Jaded. Uncaring and those are the best things I can say about him.

My last visit included a dangerous misdiagnosis of diverticulitis instead of the appendicitis I had. I am thankful for second opinions.

This was an awful experience. The Doctor was rude and very unprofessional. This was my first and last appointment with this doctor. I was told by him that i was required to see him every 3 months for recurring appointments or I should find a new doctor. He also wanted to send me to a doctor (OBGYN) that he was affiliated with after I said I had my own doctor, I assume for his kickback . He was barking orders at me and was very rude. When I asked him a follow up question he responded with 'I told you lady'. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Dr. Bornia was rude, unprofessional and the worse experience I ever had with a doctor...stay a way from this guy. Front office does not follow thru with his direction...don't receive referrals. Run from him...

Bornia is one of the most horrible physicians I have came across in the 10 years I have worked in the medical field. He pretends to want to help you but that is far from the truth. I have even called and made a complaint to the state regarding this office.

I made an appointment over the phone and was told to come at 10:15, so thats what I did. Once I got there the front desk person told me that she needed to reschedule my appointment because I was “late”. She said I was supposed to be there by 9:30 for a 10:00 appointment and I told her no one ever told to come in at 9:30. To make s story short, she didnt believe me because she said everyone in the office knee to tell new patients to come 30 min earlier. She closed her window, got yelled by someone telling her that they were running behind and they were entitled to have lunch too and were not gonna see me. Then she called me to the window again to say her system to check insurances was down and had to reschedule me anyway. This place is so unprofessional and will not be coming back. I wish I saw the reviews before making and apporintment.

I have been going to Dr. Bornia for over 10 years, he is always taken care of my medical needs in a professional manner. He was able to control my Asthma. Dr. Bornias staff is so caring and loving, I actually enjoy going to the doctors.

Do not be fooled!!! This guy and I say guy because he's not worth calling a "doctor," is a big game QUACK!!! Absolute WORST DRs Visit in my life. Stay away from the phony poster of a doctor!!!

He is a horrible doctor and an even worse human being. He strongly believes that he and his front desk staff. Explaining that not only am is sick man but also a dying man he played games with me, my time, and my health. Which is him playing with my life.

Dr Bornia is terrific. He always takes his time and explains things well. I highly recommend him. In addition, His staff is second to none.

I found him to be very judgmental & we never got past my medications. I was there for vertigo symptoms! I left crying, I felt humiliated! I had to change my dr, so now I have a new primary. Do not go to him, it was horrible.

He is compassionate and a great listener. On top of this, he is very accurate when he diagnoses a disease. He is amazing.

I have been going to dr bornia for years. He is a wonderful doctor. You always see him personally and he always listens and is very nice. He is very honest and helpful no matter what's going on. All the staff is very helpful and there for u for whatever u need.

Very cordial. Dr. is patient in explainimg procedures and listens to me.
