Dr. Tanwir is a good physician. My husband and I both were referred to his practice for thyroid cancer. His administrative staff and front office leave much to be desired. Normal requests such as lab orders and prescription refill requests are a hassle to get resolved. For this reason, we decided to go elsewhere.

Loved him!! He got my diabetes a1c from 13 down to 5. My thyroid issues were better after he added liothyronine . Wish he hadn’t left. Actually started losing weight.

Very knowledgeable. He spends a lot of time with me each time I have seen him. A1c for the first time in 5 years is now below 7.5. The diabetes educator I his team, Justin, was wonderful.

At first we were very impressed with Dr. Tanwir. Side effects from the prescribed medications weren't being taken seriously and we (my wife had drive me because of complications) realized he wasn't listening. Once we found a doctor to replace him and got my medical records we knew firing him was the smart move not only for my health but more importantly my well being. The office staff was amazing but clinical staff changed constantly.

I wanted to see Dr. Tanwir due to the knowledge I have heard about him, I have hypothyroidism, my PCP refuses to refer me to a endo because he says he has it under control, when in fact it is going on 10 years now I have suffered with this, my hair is extremely thinning, I am young! I still have all the symptoms of hypo thyroid, the office staff were very rude to me when I requested to schedule an appointment they req. a referral even if your insurance does not and she was very rude about it.

Has been seeing Dr. Tanwir for past 2 years. He has always been very thorough. He listened to my problems and addressed them effectively to my satisfaction. Upon my diagnosis of thyroid cancer, he has involved me completely in my decision making, and went over pros and cons of treatments. I still remember he spent an hour with me after my diagnosis to explain the whole plan. I would recommend him to everyone. Only thing is that his wait time is increasing, but wait is worth it.

I found him a his way or NO way kind of doctor. His concerns about patient desires based on past personal experiences do not enter his decision making process and he might just tell you, as he told me, that if you don't agree with him, he won't treat you. THEN he wanted to take over my care completely and asked me to STOP seeing my Oncologist and see ONLY him to treat my cancer too. Is this guy for real?
