Dr. Kumar is an excellent physician and surgeon who employs a stellar staff. all contacts with this medical practice are outstandingly professional and kind. His staff is highly trained and immediately responsive to patient needs. Thank you for your excellent services both in the medical office and the surgery center.

My spouse was scheduled for routine nose surgery. Issue was found with his heart a few minutes before proceedure. Sent to ER. We are disappounted in not having the surgery at this time but docs took the time to do the Right thing. Probably saved spouses life by finding a problem. Very empathetic, professional staff. Now I myself have issues and I will see Dr. Kumar!

I think Dr Kumar is a great doctor who cares about his patients and has a friendly approachable bed side manner that encourages questions and discussions. I love that. Thanks for answering my questions with care and concern. Dr. Kumar never makes you feel dumb for asking questions and he always gives a breakdown of his approach to your condition. I had nasal Polyps removed and I can breathe again! Thank you Dr Kumar. He has always been very good at following up the surgery to maintain my overall breathing health. Wonderful staff and a clean building all contribute to a great medical experience. Highly recommended.

My visit was OK, except the office in Ithaca was extremely cold. When I inquired, he stated that he is only in Ithaca on Fridays; Cortland the rest of the week and by the time the office warms up, its time to go home. OK, but I'm freezing now, can you find a fix around this? Every heard of portable heaters. My shock and displeasure came months later, however, when I obtain a copy of the Dr. Kumar's notes sent to my primary care, who had referred me. His note stated that he did inspection of my orifices, he did not, just what I was sent there for. He also gave a detailed description of the ultrasound procedure, which included me being in a supine position with a shoulder bag to extend my neck. I was actually sitting up with glops of gel running down my face onto my collar. The finally contradiction was he claimed he performed a nasal endoscopy in both nostrils, when indeed he only did one nostril. Why would one doctor lie to another like this? Eye opening.

I had my right side thyroid taken out everyone was nice knowledgeable great bedside manner available any time I had questions or concerns would recommend doctor Kumar without thinking twice

Dr. Kumar and his staff provided a needle biopsy of a lymph node on my neck. The results came back quickly thankfully I didn’t need further surgery, however he was able to do that at the same location which is very convenient for other patients if they should need that. Very grateful for a professional doctor who was caring and informative.

Dr. Kumar and his staff were wonderful and compassionate for my surgery (this is my second - I had sinus surgery 10 years ago). HIs surgery unit vs. the hospital setting is a better atmosphere for minor procedures. I received more attention from the nurses in the recovery room.

I needed a lingual frenectomy so badly, it was affecting my eating habits. I was scared, though... I didn't like the idea of messing around underneath my tongue. Dr. Kumar must be some sort of magician because he was able to calm my fears, perform the procedure painlessly, and have me out of there in less than 20 minutes. Granted, it was one of the faster procedures that an ENT could do, but the way Dr. Kumar and his staff approached it was impeccable.

Dr. Kumar helped me through a very scary thyroid cancer. He performed a difficult surgery and helped me through the recovery. He rechecks every 6 months and is very conscientious about how i feel and how the medication is working. Dr. Kumar is very easy to talk to and very professional.

I like Dr. Kumar. He is a very compassionate, intelligent, skilled caregiver. I brought him a very tough to diagnose problem, and he has been working hard to find a solution. His staff are also very well trained, and seem to care about the patients.

Dr. Kumar , and his staff are top rate, and treated me like the Rock star I always wanted to be! After about 3 weeks my head still feels like someone left their flipflop up there, but I am healing swimmingly. I have my fingers crossed and use my neti pot 3x's daily. Thanks again, Hollis

He seems like a nice guy, and promises to help, but if you tell him more than one symptom, he will focus on one and ignore the others. The office never follows up. They never call with test results, despite their promises, even if you are panicked and worried. If you ask for something to reduce your suffering, they promise to phone in a prescription, but never do. I don't know if it's the doctor, or staff. All they did for me was foul up my insurance. I'm suffering, and they don't care.
