HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE doctor and office in general. My wife has had to see Dr. Garg several times and each time she and would walk away feeling frustrated and angry. The first complaint is the absolute LONG wait times. Everytime my wife has seen him for her appointment, she has had to wait 40-45 minutes before being taken to the back. Then she would have to wait another 15- 20 minutes to actually see the doctor. While waiting to see the doctor, his nurse would fumble with the blood pressure cuff and have to put it on my wife's arm several times before actually measuring her blood pressure. She bumbled about like she had no idea what she was doing. When the doctor would finally arrive, he seemed more obsessed with personal topics about my wife and her family that had no relation to her kidneys at all. My wife is deaf, and he was more concerned with finding out about if anyone in her family was deaf, then actually discussing her kidneys and her test results. Being deaf, my wife relies on an interpreter or reading lips. Neither were provided for my wife, as they did not ever provide an interpreter nor would the doctor remove his mask so she could, at least, read his lips. When I attended one of the appointments, to serve as the interpreter for my wife, he seemed put off that I was there and made me feel less than welcome in the room. Overall the office is extremely unprofessional and rude. We will NEVER go back to Dr. Garg ever again and high recommend that everyone else go elsewhere as well.

Under Dr. Garg's care my kidney function has been improving. He explained the problems nicely and with his help I was able to make the changes needed. He also treated my neighbor and we are very happy with his care. His office staff always answers the phone in person and he always gets back to me the same day. Would very highly recommend Dr. Garg to everyone.

Last two visits were virtual and preferable to me. Prior to COVID I had asked about telehealth. I have seen Dr Garg for several years; when first referred I had Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease and was very worried about progressing to dialysis. With Dr Garg's persistent attention my creatinine level of 2.4 is now 1.4. I did not like the every 3 mo schedule but my other doctors insisted it was necessary. It has been slow to improve things: he was patient with me to stay the treatment course. When you cannot see outward changes it is ease to get discouraged. I am thankful and pleased that my kidney function is better. It took being careful about what I eat, taking medicine regularly as prescribed and exercising. I do not EVER take a medication unless I check with Dr Garg and a few times he has changed something to make it better for kidney health

I have been a patient of Dr. Garg for several years. I meet with him 2-3 times a year to monitor my kidney health. From the very first visit, and every appointment thereafter, Dr. Garg has been outstanding in his care, concern, advice, counsel, and professionalism. As an example; recently my lab results for kidney function were in the acceptable/green range for the first time in many years. Dr. Garg's guidance and encouragement have been a big part of this achievement and he and I equally shared the excitement of this success. Dr. Garg has certainly been helpful to me and my health and I highly recommend him!

Excellent care - very personable. He spends quality time with each patient and also goes to see his patients in the hospital (that is great! - very few doctors do that these days). So gets hospital phone calls occasionally during office hours - does not bother me as I know he would take a phone call for me too if ever needed. Office staff is friendly and no problems - always get a call back. Choose your doctor wisely - as the one who cares will keep you well !! Two of my friends see him too - we all feel the same :)

Due to Dr Garg's efforts, my blood pressure is much better now. The kidney function has increased !! He has worked with my family doctor and now my overall health is improving. His office staff is extremely pleasant. I am the type of person that if things are not right, I report people and here the staff has been very professional. Very happy with his care :)

Very nice visit. Dr Garg is very caring and with his guidance my kidney numbers are much better now. He was rated as Delaware Top Doc and I know why. Patients in the waiting room were all happy that he answers phone calls promptly and even comes to hospital to see them if ever they get admitted.

Does not listen. During appointments would ask the same question over and over. Tries to get you to do home dialysis without evaluating whether you are a good candidate. The practice offers very little if any training or education for new dialysis patients. Dr. Garg is my doctor even though I have not seen him for 6 months at dialysis center.

He is interested only in the money he can make from a patient. The less Potential money in his pocket the lower the care standard you get from him. Also as others have said he will only see you at a center of his choosing. Will never go back to this doctor.
