Dr. Mandeep Bakshi, MD

Dr. Bakshi has provided me treatment for asthma and sleep apnea issues for many years. He is very knowledgable and compassionate. I couldn't ask for a better treating professional!

Have not been there yet!! My fiance was discharged to follow up in ONE week for possible cancer and his office was nice enough to try and schedule him for 2-3 months because they wanted to argue with me over what the discharge instructions said and told me ' I would have to bring the paperwork I have to them'!!! Save yourself time and go to a different doctor!!! I work in medical and this is unacceptable!!!!! No wonder there are such bad reviews!!!!!

Dr. Bakshi did not recognize the mass in my lung as lymphoma, even though the radiologists continually recommended a biopsy. He said it could not be cancer and diagnosed it as a lipoma. I went to Vanderbilt for a second opinion and found that I do have lymphoma. Dr. Bakshi is incompetent. He told me that he could not find any doctor in our area to do a biopsy. I don’t believe he even tried.

Excellent. Was referred to him to follow up on sleep apnea treatment. I found him to be extremely friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in my overall health. I did not feel rushed, I learned a lot from him, and he took time to make sure all of my questions we answered. I felt very reassured by him. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Bakshi seems knowledgeable and may be a good diagnostician, but doesn't listen well at times and has terrible bedside manner. He treats patients like they're a child even if they're as old or older than he is. His staff is mixed with a good nurse practitioner but some other nurse or P.A. who can't answer questions or check with the doctor to find out the answers. Front desk staff is friendly if sometimes inept- who makes patients come pick up prescription for xray instead of faxing it to the hospital during the Covid limitations period these days? Answer- this office did. Unless you like being insulted and don't care about not getting properly diagnosed and instructed in care and only want a 3 month follow-up for something that needs a 6 week follow up, find another pulmonologist.

I thought I knew it all, but I didn't! I'm now managing my sleep issues and sleeping 100% better than I ever imagined.

Staff is caring and patient even when very busy! Dory is the BEST!!!
