I saw Dr. Hashefi twice and never received a diagnosis or treatment (beyond a referral for generic physical therapy). She did refer me to 2 other doctors with different specialties. I got the distinct sense she was trying to get rid of me, perhaps because she was looking to sever her relationship with GW hospital. Then I go to another rheumatologist and BAM, one very thorough appointment I have a diagnosis, a treatment plan, and peace of mind.

I was diagnosed by Dr. Hashefi with having lupus. When I went to another rheumatologist, I found out that while my lab numbers are not the norm, I do not have lupus. I have yet, more than 8 years, been able to get my records corrected; which means according to my health records, I am classified as having lupus. I would never go to Dr. Hashefi.

Totally irresponsible. She doesn't respect time or patients for that matter. After 40 mins of waiting, the receptionist said "oh! she tends to run late!" how late i said, "i don't know, let me check' after two minutes, ' she "might" need another 20 mins'. I left and didn't reschedule. I have been waiting for more than a month for this appointment. managing my aches and pains from RA. i took early release from work to be on time and 'she tends to run late!' how irresponsible!
