Dr. Malik Willis, MD

My mom, an elderly patient 71yo came in for abdominal pain after being told by an Urgent Care doctor that he would not prescribe antibiotics for her because her diagnosis was inconclusive and needed additional tests run because there is an underlying issue. Came to the hospital, the doctor walked in and said ‘so what’s up’ sat down in the chair fully slouched while my mom was explaining her symptoms. Ran the same exact tests the UC did, and did exactly what the previous doctor said not to do. Went home and spoke to a friend who is a Cariology Fellow and he provided a thorough potential diagnosis, told us the risks of Dr. Willis not running additional tests and I really wish I had known otherwise I would not have allowed my mother to be discharged - also a patient who had a heart attack a month prior.

Dr. Willis is an outstanding ER doctor who goes above and beyond. His attentiveness and thorough approach ensure patients feel heard and cared for. His positive energy creates a comforting environment, making a visit to the ER as reassuring as possible. Highly recommended for exceptional care.
