Test Results Took Too Long
Started my journey with this office 6 years ago under a previous doctor. No issues with current doctor Malik Rahim until He scheduled some tests back in April. The tests were completed but the soonest I could hear results were August 3 (over 90 days later). I raised my concern; he then explained he was of only two cardiologists in town. I stated that over 90 days was too long to receive test results. He stated I could leave town and find another doctor, refusing to see me again. I did raise my voice to him as to why it took so long causing him to end the visit and informing the office staff that there will be no more visits.

Horrible back office at this practice
My primary care provider faxed a referral to DR. Rahim's office. Despite my best efforts it has been impossible to make an appointment; 1. Left message 3X explaining my primary care provider faxed his office a referral and I need to make an appointment .No call back after leaving 3 messages. 2. Went to his website 2X and again explained via message that my primary care provider faxed a referral and I need to make an appointment. I instantly received an auto E mail that my request has been received by his office and a staff member would be in touch with me shortly. It's been over a week and still no call from his office. With such a poor back office staff I have no interest in seeing this Doctor.

If you have a choice, go somewhere else. Dr. Rahim may be a good doctor, but don't expect to have a talk about your treatment plan. He made me feel as if I was a piece of meat with no brain. Saw him this AM since my release from WARMC last week (April, 2020.) He walks in the room, yelling at me about what he was going to do to me in the next 6 months, and asked if I had questions. I started to ask a question about one of my medications, and he abruptly cut me off, barking out what he thought was the answer. So do yourself a favor, go somewhere else of you have a choice.
