Dr. Malik Ibrahim, MD

I am a medical professional, and was hospitalized for life-threatening multiple cerebral thrombi (blood clots in brain) & aneurysms at Centennial Medical. Dr Ibrahim came in my patient room. He asked ‘Ms. Proctor, why are you here for a headache? Go home’. I was in tears. This behavior is horrific. I’ve read in these reviews that this is how Dr. Ibriahim behaves. Unacceptable from MD that practices medicine! He did not read or understand my condition.*I expect better than this from HCA & the $350 charged for this demeaning, insulting consult that I neither approved or requested.

My wife was hospitalized with chest pains stemming from an ongoing chronic migraine she had (at the time) for 8 months. Dr. Ibrahim stopped by to "assess" her condition. First, we were shocked when he had not heard about Ajovy, which is a new migraine treatment drug. It has been on the market for about a year, and although it didn't help my wife, many migraine sufferers have found relief with it. He was quick to suggest Topamax, which has been around since the 90s...sounded like his go-to treatment. Second, although his evaluation started normal enough, by the end of it he made my wife feel humiliated and had her in tears. He said her migraine was just anxiety. I'd like for him to have a migraine for 8 months and not feel anxious! Besides the less than caring treatment, we cannot recommend him as a neurologist because he seemed clueless to the biggest break-through treatment for migraines in the last 20 years. Wonder how many of his patients could benefit from Ajovy?
