Horrible
My experience with Doctor Shammas was absolutely horrifying. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a patient. After waiting over an hour past my appointment time, I was finally seen—but only for a rushed, dismissive five minutes. Dictor. barely made eye contact, didn’t listen to my concerns, and acted as if I was wasting their time. Their attitude was shockingly rude, and their lack of care was downright dangerous. To make matters worse, they completely misdiagnosed me, leading to unnecessary pain and stress. If I hadn’t sought a second opinion, I might still be suffering. This doctor should not be practicing medicine if they have so little regard for their patients’ well-being. Avoid at all costs!

Terrible experience under Dr. Shammas care.
She too quickly lowered my medication. I almost crashed my car and had to go to the ER for immediate assessment and readjustment of my medication. She also seems more focused on what her colleagues are talking about out in the hallway, rather than focusing on what she is diagnosing and prescribing to her patient sitting in front of her. She may have been a good doctor at one time, but certainly not the recent experience of our family.

Dr. Shammas is a very compassionate doctor, and I always leave feeling like she genuinely cares about my health and well-being. I'm not sure if she's accepting new patients right now but if you're looking for an Internist in the area that accepts most insurances, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with her. Also, her phlebotomist (smaller gal) is very nice, and makes an otherwise unpleasant procedure less traumatizing. Front desk gals are friendly and I've never had any issues with scheduling/test results/billing.

Don’t know from where the negativity toward Dr. Zacca-Shammas’s practice could derive. I found the front desk staff to be efficient and extremely patient, even as new patients were incoming with special request and they managed the schedules of the multiple doctors whose practices the clinic houses. I feel obligated to write this review here to correct the overall rating the doctor had receivef on this site, because her care is comprehensive, thorough, and warm. Unlike so many other doctors, she treats your appointment as an opportunity to look at your overall health in addition to the specific concerns you may have. She asks questions and takes proactive steps to ensure that you leave feeling confident about your health care. I highly recommend this doctor.

The Doctor is wonderful, she listens and takes her time. I would give 4 stars, however the front desk staff I would give a 2 stars. I am constantly stressed dealing with the 3 women at the front receptionist area, they talk over one another, take personal phone calls at the desk while you are waiting to get an answer. What is even more rude is speaking from English to Hebrew or Arabic. If you can get over the front desk, then I give her 4 stars.
