Good surgeon, not great person.
Dr. Amneus was my surgeon and did a great job. But as a doctor she was the worst. Zero compassion. When diagnosed she said, “well you have cancer” patted me on the shoulder and told me I had five minutes to decide if I wanted surgery in the next two weeks. Didn’t even give me time to process the news. Told me very little about the cancer I have. After surgery she came to my room to give me information but I was on pain meds and didn’t remember anything she said, and she got upset with me when I had my sister ask her what was said while I was in recovery. She was the trigger point for anxiety and fear toward oncologists.

A kind intelligent Dr.
Dr. Amneus is well educated and has given me excellent care. She explained things very well and made me feel worthwhile. My care has been excellent by her and her staff. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have survived my stage 4 ovarian cancer which is a genetically passed on cancer. I'm still under her care for matinence therapy and doing fine as she monitors my blood count regularly and office visits are every three months. She covers a wide area so actually seeing her you have to keep your appointments as she travels from one area to another.. couldn't ask for a better oncologist than her.

I highly recommend Dr Amneus. She takes pride in her specialty and makes you feel like she truly cares. She has spent many hours with me during my pre and post op consultations. She takes her time to explain and is very professional. Her bed side manner is warm and her character is very kind. She made me feel safe 100% - I attribute my survival of endo cancer to her and the care I have received.

Dr. Amneus has a wet personality. She rushed us out at my moms appointments and never offered a compassionate word to my mom that had an aggressive cancer. Other cancer patients with the same cancer and stage were offered many scans and test to make sure their steps ahead of this aggressive cancer, but not Amneus. She literally did the least she could do for my mom. My mom complained for years of PMB and many UTI but nothing was done for 3 years. Even after my mom completed her first round of cancer treatment she went to her to complain of signs of her cancer returning, but Amneus did a physical exam and sent her home, a few times. The sad thing is that Kaiser makes you out your life on only her. Kaiser makes lots of money and brags about state of the art equioment for cancer care, BUT NONE WERE USED ON MY MOM. Maybe because she's a latina without money? Theres no other explanation for the minimal care my mom receieved at Kaiser in Panorama.

Became a new patient of Dr. Amneus due to a very rare condition. What a caring, nice, knowledgeable , and concerned doctor! She took plenty of time to go over my situation, my concerns and eased my fears of going into surgery and proceeding with the recommended procedures. Because of her outstanding surgical skills and care, I was back at work and feeling better very soon. Thank you I am grateful

Dr. Amneus has absolutely no compassion and lacks sensitivity. It’s hard enough getting a cancer diagnosis. It would be nice to have a Dr you feel that cares. She makes you feel rushed at each appointment and doesn’t give much information on your prognosis. She’s the ONLY oncologist gynecologist at Kaiser in the San Fernando Valley and you’d have to drive all the way to Sunset in Los Angeles just to see another dr. I wish Kaiser would get another specialist so we could have other options instead of being “stuck” with someone who acts how she does. It’s really sad
