My MD gave me his number -didnt have to wait months for an appointment -I am a retired R.N.-He had gone over my records=I had a TIA in April-He recommened a pacemaker which has been done--Im impressed that he was treating me just as well as a younger person--I am 90

First impression is extremely positive
I have visited Dr. Basit once, and he impressed me with his knowledge, listening to what I had to say, his kindness, his recommendations, and the attention of his staff at Memorial Hermann in Sugar Land. I will continue to see see him.

He has been my cardiologist for over 10 years, wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my heart issues. He is also kind, explains things so I understand and answers my questions.

Poor bedside manner, did not take time with geriatric patient after waiting over an hour from appointment time to see him. Spent less than 10 minutes with my grandmother, she asked him at the end of the appointment if she was ok, to which he replied, no, and then walked into another patient room.

Dr Basit went above and beyond when I needed help. He not only considered lab work, EKG results and Radiology reports, he listened to my symptoms and as a result performed a life saving procedure. I strongly recommend Dr Basit if you are having any heart problems or symptoms. He is amazing.
