Staff are incompetent. I see a RN in this practice who supposedly treats patients with osteoporososis. She doesn't know what she's doing. This practice does not even know how to get prior authorization from my insurance so I can get the medication. Staff are very unresponsive. I would not recommend this practice.

Worst doctor ever
I do not recommend Dr Tehrani at all. She came highly recommend to my by my GP, and I sent her a lot of paperwork to review in preparation for my initial appointment with her. She came to the appointment unprepared, had not looked at any previous records, and we were completely rushed. I’m did not even get to tell my entire story. Over the course of the next year or so, she was extremely dismissive to me. While she has a good rating on Google, I recommend you look up her reviews on some other websites like healthgrades. It seems most of us have complained about the same things with her- that she doesn’t take the time to listen, is dismissive, and is always late and then rushed. If you’re looking for a doctor who is going to help you investigate your condition or spend time with you really coming up with care plan, she’s not it.

Avoid This Rheumatologist
Lowest rating. Dr. Tehrani ran no tests, looked at no previous records, and offered me an inaccurate diagnosis. If I had followed her advice instead of seeking out another rheumatologist, my autoimmune disease would be even worse now than it is.

Not Worth the Aggravation
Dr. Tehrani was highly recommended by my GP. When I went to see her, she seemed to be rushed and abrupt. She did not give me a sense of what was going on with my body. When she left, I asked my spouse if I was overreacting. He, too, sensed her abruptness and not answering questions. When we left, Dr. Tehrani was in the elevator. It was obvious she had somewhere to be as I was her last appointment of the day. If that is how she treats her family, I feel sorry for them.

Poor Management - Poor Care
I was in pain - a lot of pain. Dr. Tehrani spent a total of 5 minutes with me on my initial visit and asked me to get some tests done then rushed me out the door. I had a follow-up virtual appointment a couple months later. I Joined the call 5 minutes prior to the appointment as I was asked. I then proceeded to wait 45 minutes until Dr. Tehrani was able to join the call. I didn't receive any message from her or her office stating that she would be late. After another five minute visit where we discussed the results we were done. Then five months after the visit (while I'm still in pain), I received a bill from her office for the full amount. They didn't bill my insurance even after they requested updated information (and I provided it) prior to my appointment. Finally, when I tried calling the office after they open (at 8:00), no one answers the phone. The "after-hours" message was playing until I was able to contact them at 8:35. If I could leave a zero-star rating I would.

I can see why people say she rushes - remember, these doctors HAVE TO see a certain number of patients a day. However, I am my own advocate for my disease and had to see a new doctor as mine moved out of state. I have never had a doctor trust me with what I told her, what my ailments are, what has worked over 8+ years and what has not. She is a proponent of nontraditional medicine paired with big pharma. The time I spent with her was thorough and most of all, there was trust. Perhaps she's not a great "diagnosing" doctor, based on these reviews. But she is a great patient advocate too.

Dr. Tehrani rushed my appointment as well and noted that the nurse would repeat what she had told me. I DIDN'T MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE NURSE (although the nurse was very nice). I don't know that I feel comfortable moving to a biologic based on my short rushed appointment and I traveled 45 minutes to be rushed through my appointment. She was good to provide a lot of information of meds/tools that aren't covered by insurance though! RA is frustrating painful disorder and I do not believe Dr. Tehrani is the physician for me. She is nice and seemed knowledgeable but this office is a "processing center"!

I visited Dr. Tehrani after receiving a referral from my GP due to about 5 years of chronic joint pain which had morphed into fatigue, brain fog, and more severe pain. The intake appointment lasted around 15 minutes where she looked at my he family history that I provided, seemed concerned, and then ordered a bunch of blood work. Although it seemed very rushed, I was still hopeful as she seemed nice. My second, in-person follow-up was abysmal. The appointment was very short (maybe 10-15 minutes) and I was dismissed due to having clean bloodwork. Pretty disheartened at moment.

Very disappointing. She spent less than 10 minutes with me including 3 interruptions. Very uncaring and dismissive. She took me off my meds , prescribed new ones that aren’t working. I’m experiencing terrible pain. She was supposed to follow up with my previous doctor. I never heard from her. I would never recommend her. No bedside manner.

Dr. Tehrani doesn't rush her patients. She is very attentive, does thorough examinations, and answers all of the questions that we, naturally, have when we come to see a doctor. She is very knowledgeable in her field as well as in other fields of medicine, and very flexible in discussing the ways to treat you.

My last experience with Dr. Tehrani and her staff was on 27 January 2019. During my last clinical visit, in December of 2018, Dr. Tehrani's Phlebotomist sent my blood samples to Quest Diagnostics instead of Lab Corp. Now I have a near $400 bill from Quest that Dr. Tehrani's staff is not willing to discuss with me. A doctor's staff represent the doctor for whom they work. I'm less than impressed with the staff and the doctor.

Dr. Tehrani and her staff are top notch. The office is run well, the staff is very friendly, and Dr. Tehrani is the best rheumatologist I have ever been to. After being mis-diagnosed for years, Dr. Tehrani quickly determined what treatment I needed, implemented it, and stabilized me. I can't tell you what a difference seeing her has made in my life.
