Worst doctor ever
Wow this guy is absolutely horrible. We got absolutely nowhere, and he left me feeling confused and scared. Do not see him.

Don't come here.
I've had to deal with SSRI discontinuation syndrome TWICE now because of this doctor, on top of him not sending in the correct script for my ADHD medication. I've been coming here for a year now but that's going to change soon. Absolutely irresponsible and disrespectful to both my time and my health issues.

Poor management
The staff members are often unhelpful, unfriendly, confused, suspicious. Waiting can be outrageously high--once it was 1 hour for a 5-min consultation. When asked for an email address, the staff said there is none, which is untrue. Dr. Dave wrote back via email. Since there was no email, a letter was sent but it was "lost". Our messages did not seem to reach Dave. A simple, urgent request took months, with many in-person visits, unanswered calls, and a negative attitude. It was a nightmare! It led to a decision to cease consultation with Dave. The staff probably deserves little blame. The onus is on Dave to create a conducive environment with sound processes. Dave has to realize that dealing with mental health issues is already very hard. There is no room for such avoidable, unpleasant experience. Based on experience with another psychiatrist in town, those problems were non-existent. Sadly, he left town. With the hope this helps Dave improve and truly help people who are in pain.

I need to find another doctor to get me help! Dr. Dave has done nothing but played mind games with me and taken my money. Doctor Dave has a very unprofessional conduct, doesn't listen and hasn't adequately cared for my needs.

I feel he did not listen to me seriously. Instead of having a conversation about my history and needs, Dr. Dave needed me to convince him the validity of my statements. It is good to be critical, but it felt like I was a criminal being grilled by a prosecuter, rather than a patient talking to a doctor. I was told I need $500 worth of testing not covered by insurance (with no explanation why) before he would see me again. I went in for help with anxiety.

Dr. Dave saved my life...literally, his compassion and dedication to making sure I felt like a normal person was his top priority. He is so easy to talk to and I recommend both him and his wife to anyone who is needing or looking to change their Doctor.

Dr. Dave is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I've ever met. I love his approach to mental health - traditional psych treatment but also a strong understanding of how the brain is part of the body.

Abosolutely horrible. I don’t think doctor Dave took the vow to help his patient. He might take the vow to try his best to take patients’ money.

I've been seeing Dr. Dave for several years now, and I believe he sees bipolar disorders as a result of chemical imbalances in the brain and prescribes various medications until you can function on the right combination and he's been referred to negatively because of this. You should find a therapist if you need to learn life skills in dealing with mental health issues and join a sponsored group in your area, Dr. Dave's not one for hour long discussions, ranting, raving, and crying.

I am surprised that Dr. Dave is still in practice. He is rude, impatient and has serious issues in communication. He considers my question about the medicine a waste of his time after I barely sat in his office for more than 10 min. He prescribed me nutritional supplements I cannot afford. When I asked him for cheaper options, he took offense very dramatically and asked me to "go find other doctors if you don't trust me." Just do not go to him!

Dr. Dave should have his licenses revoked. He is extremely dishonest and takes advantage of people suffering from depression and other mental illnesses. He charges extreme fees for services that are free elsewhere. One day he requested that my dad come by just so he could meet him, and then charged an extra $75 because my father sat in his office for less than five minutes. He is a crook.

Dr Dave has treated my son and me for several years. My son had severe depression and anxiety disorders. He wouldn't leave the house by the time he turned 15. When he was ready to ask for help, Dr Dave was instrumental in my son's overcoming his fears. In my opinion, Dr Dave saved my son's life. He is excellent at choosing the right medication for the right person. I appreciate and respect him.
