I came to Aslam for my alcoholism and mind you, I'm not some basket case who is not a functioning member of society. I graduated from a Private Liberal Arts university and am employed as a consultant for a prominent consulting firm (as I have been when I first went to see him). My problem with alcoholism started in college due to stress and being in a toxic relationship. I was on full aid with no income so obtaining the co-pay for medication or psych treatment was difficult. Thus, I turned to alcohol has an alternative. After getting my job and having full health benefits, I sought care for my alcoholism. On my first visit, Aslam didn't listen, was very apathetic, rude and egotistical. To him, you're just another case on paper not a person. As a brown South Asian man who grew up in a toxic household, he reminded me of my father. Doctor Epps, who is one of the therapist there is the complete opposite and I recommend seeing him and another psych if you need help!

I had been struggling with my addiction for about 7 years and went through a handful of doctors and treatments (unsuccessfully) before going to Dr. Aslam at CT Addiction Medicine. Thanks to the treatment I've received under Dr. Aslam I have been clean for 4 years at this point. I have completely turned my life around and now have a future that I can get excited about. It's a drastic difference from my life before where I would have been lucky to live past 30, if you are looking for help with a substance abuse problem there is hope! I would absolutely recommend you check out CT Addiction Medicine if you are serious about getting clean. Thank you Dr. Aslam for all that you and team have done for me!

I have been a patient for almost 6 years now his program has literally saved my life. I can tell you the people that have left bad reviews are people that weren't ready to get clean and sober. Dr Aslam has been doing this a long time and has heard every lie and excuse 100,000 times so yea if you're looking for a dr. to just give you meds and let you keep partying i don't think Dr. Aslam is for you. But if you are seriously trying to get better and start on the long road to recovery with a Dr. that's going to hold you accountable for your actions and really help you help yourself then i would definitely recommend Dr Aslam. Thank you doc and all your staff so much for everything you guys have done for me and my family.

I strongly recommend NOT acquiring Dr. Aslam as you doctor. Please do yourself this great service of finding another doctor to treat you. If to be properly treated then Dr.Aslam is not the doctor to choose. His is rude and dismissive as well as does not listen or care even.
