Thoughtful and understanding

Hands down one of the best primary care doctors I ever had. He is very caring and professional. I feel truly blessed to have him on my health team.

I was very impressed with Dr. Maekal Elyasi during my first visit for a physical. He seemed genuinely interested in hearing my concerns. He said I should make another appointment in four weeks to finish the physical, including a stress test. No follow up referrals were given to address my discussed problems. The blood test draw was badly performed. My arm was itchy and hurting for a week after. I never received results of the tests that were performed until I asked for them at the next appointment after waiting more than an hour in the examining room. When he did see me, he asked why I was there. When I told him, he said it was too late to do a stress test. At that point I asked for copies of the results of my tests. He didn't discuss the results with me. He didn't have the Colon Guard test results which were sent to him. The doctor assured me I would be called with the results. It has been a month and no call. This was a very disappointing experience.

Dr. Elyasi is truly an amazing doctor and I’ve been going to him for years! Not only is he patient and knowledgeable but he treats you like family rather than just a patient. Last time I loved a doctor this much was my pediatrician. He sees everyone I know and I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Elyasi was amazing! He is super knowledgeable, kind and has great bedside manners. He made me feel comfortable and addressed any question I had even if they may have sounded a bit “crazy”. Never dismissive and always reliable! I recommend him to everyone!
