Months to schedule visit with PA, never met Dr. T.
Dr. Tighe's practice did not respond to either of two referrals sent by my primary care physician over a period of weeks, so I contacted them directly. The soonest I could be seen was another two months out, but with a PA, not Dr. Tighe herself. The PA I met went by a different name than I was given (?), which was confusing to both me and the receptionist. I offered to send my collective lab work ahead of my visit, but was told to bring them to my appointment. My labs were neither reviewed nor collected during my somewhat hurried visit with the PA. I was able to communicate with Dr. Tighe only via email on the Nuvance portal, never in person. This left me with more questions than answers, and the only appointment I could get to actually speak directly with Dr. Tighe was another four months out. After only a handful of email correspondences over a period of a few weeks, I reluctantly decided to move on with another practice. Disappointing, especially in light of her high reviews.

Dr Mae Tighe..The best of the best !
Doctor Tighe is an extraordinary doctor in every sense of the word! …. She moved out of area where I live quite a few years ago and I’ve had several gastroenterologist since and no one comes even close to this brilliant , caring person doctor . She is a treasure !

What changed?!
Dr Tighe has been my doctor for several years and I really like her. BUT! The staff in her office are awful! The right hand doesn’t talk to the left hand and getting a call back is like pulling teeth. I understand Dr Tighe might be busy but a patient should be able to speak with her directly.

The best!
Dr. Tighe is an AMAZING doctor. She is not only an incredibly skilled Gastro, but she is also a caring, compassionate, and wonderful human. I had so many fears and reservations before my initial visit. She listened to me, took time with me, and carefully explained everything. It is obvious how much she loves her work and cares about her patients. I am so glad that I found her.

Dr Tighe is wonderful! I have been struggling with GI problems for years and seen numerous drs who did nothing to help me. Dr Tighe spent so much time listening to me and coming up with treatment options. I actually cried, I was so relieved someone was finally helping me! I highly recommend her, and the entire staff in the office has been great as well.

Excellent gastroenterologist! Very pleased with her knowledge, bedside manners, and accessibility. Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and when I woke up there was no discomfort whatsoever. She is great! Just be aware that to book your appointment with her you might have to wait up to 3 months. I highly recommended Dr. Tiegh
