Dr. Reddy in Dawsonville
Excellent doctor. Of the five specialists I see he is the BEST, often helping me with advice (when I ASK) for things outside his kidney skills. It is always calm and peaceful in his waiting area and exam room. All the staff, including Patricia, have always been very nice to me. I've been seeing him for 2 years.

Staff is not friendly at all
I was referred to Dr. Reddy and had gone to him 2 times before an incident occurred with his front desk staff, Patricia. I asked her to mail me the tests that needed to be done at Lab Corp, and she said that she was the only person and that when she got the time, she would mail it to me--I never received the tests. Each time that I called, no-one would answer, so I decided that this was not the doctor for me.

Poor staff
I called his office regarding paperwork for blood tests, and the front desk clerk, Patricia, was very rude. She said that she had mailed it, but I never received it. I called several times after that, and only got a recording. I decided that I would find another nephrologist who didn’t have rude staff.

The wait was ridiculous and the office, bathroom and exam rooms were filthy. He obviously has no respect for women including his staff. I had multiple tests done and he saw no reason to share the results with me. Went twice. NO MORE!

I was referred to Dr. Reddy when I experienced complete kidney failure in August 2015. Fortunately my kidneys started working again after stents were placed in my ureters. He and my urologist believe my ureters were compromised by retroperitoneal fibrosis. I have continued to consult with him, not only for kidney function but also to monitor my medications for controlling blood pressure and retroperitoneal fibrosis. I have found him to be competent and easy to work with.

Dr. Reddy made a very specific plan of medication for my condition. He monitors it on a regular basis and makes changes when necessary even when the change is very slight. He is a good listener and answers all of my questions in detail. Due to his bedside manner, I feel like my health is of prime importance to him. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

At my first visit, I thought Dr. Reddy lacked proper bedside manners and knocked nearly every medication I had been prescribed by other well-trained doctors. But, most importantly, for my 6 month follow up in the Alpharetta office, I was not notified either in written form or a phone call of a location change. I showed up on the day and time of my appt. as scheduled, only it was the old office. The office continues to harass me with bills for not showing up, even after I informed them.

My mom has been seeing Dr. Reddy for a year now. Much happier with the new location since it's more handicap accessible. Dr. Reddy and his office staff have always been good listeners and easy to talk to. I ask a lot of questions on behalf of mom's treatment and he's always forthright and informative. Never condescending or rude. He's always on time too, which is a nice bonus for us working folks. Very happy thus far.

Dr. Reddy has been very good treating low kidney function. He seems to do an excellent job analyzing the lab work and also listens to me in regard to my other issues and possible side effects. He does not push medications, but tries to limit them. He not only is concerned with my kidneys, but seems to be concerned with my total health.
