Dr. Lynn Keefe, MD

The ease of scheduling immediate appointments is really reassuring for parents. I have always been given a same day appointment and they have even given a phone number for extreme concerns outside of office hours that I used when my daughter was a newborn. They respect our time and do not leave us waiting for long at all. The nurses will call back within the hour if you have any further questions that you may not have thought of during the visit or if you’re on the fence about bringing your child in. Both doctor’s knowledge is very obvious and have they a demeanor that helped me gain confidence as a first time mother. The office is set up to be very kid friendly, so my daughter truly enjoys being there amongst friendly staff that sincerely care for her.

My kids have been going to her since babies and now they are 8 and 3. She’s always taken the time to address our needs and when concerned about my kids back issues and repeated UTIs from daycare, was prompt on getting imaging and suggested we switch care providers based on the Bluewater daycare’s inability to properly clean their facilities. I know we all have our own issues, but I honestly have none with them. They always get us in, most times the day of and ASAP if needed. We Love her, Dr Dakota-Smith when she’s there and her staff and can’t imagine going anywhere else. It’s a small area with tons of people and to be treated like a person and not a number is more than we could hope and ask for.

Only good reason to visit here is due to the lack of doctors in the area. Out of date service without a patient portal. Uncooperative staff. And doctor Keefe, as has been mentioned in other posts too is very old fashioned and out of touch with today’s children. It’s almost like walking into a 1920s doctors office. Just avoid.

Dr Keefe has forever scared my daughter from seeing physicians. She pinned her down while the nurse administered the flu shot and kept telling my six year old she was “acting like a baby”. This was after I had requested the flu mist for my daughter and was promised at the time of the appointment. Dr Keefe had not only my daughter in tears at the end of the appointment but myself as well. She should no longer be practicing medicine.

I would give Lynn Keefe zero stars if I could. I wouldn’t recommend this Doctor to anyone. She was great until she wasn’t and that is not just my opinion. Once I began telling my friends about what happened to my family I heard several stories about why other families choose to leave her practice. Not only is she stuck in her way of thinking for a lot of issues but she goes against mainstream organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization. She once told me that I had a “perfect baby, with symmetrical fat rolls” and that I was “a wonderful mother doing all the right things”. That comment about me was in regards to breastfeeding. Then when my daughter started loosing weight, I was told on two occasions that I was a lier and I wasn’t taking proper care of her. What she put my family through I wouldn’t wish on any other family. Lynn Keefes abuse of power from her work with the local department of children’s and families will be reported to the state

My children love her! We are very satisfied with the care we receive! Very knowledgable and good bedside manner!!
