This was probably my worst delivery so far. I’ve experienced more than one c-section but my recovery has never been this painful and it is now over a year later. My entire experience with Dr. Coppola was horrible. She refused to listen to me, thus resulting in very serious complications. I would never recommend this Dr. Please save yourself and your future babies and find a dr that cares. The office staff is horrendous and the wait times are insane. Not worth it.

Dr. Coppola delivered both of my daughters. Although I was not high risk she is a high risk OBGYN. As a an academic doctor she does consults with community OB doctors who need advice. She is a true expert in her field and I wouldn’t trust my OB care to anyone else. She is the OB that academic doctors have deliver their own children! She is compassionate, caring and highly skilled. We are incredibly lucky to have Dr. Coppola in Tucson!!!

Dr. Coppola delivered both my daughter's, and was always professional and caring. I loved having her as our OB as I was a high risk pregnancy for one of my three pregnancies. She had moved away for a short time and was not in Tucson when we had our third daughter, and I wished she had been because my experiences with that doctor was horrible compared to the care I received under Dr. Coppola.

I came to Dr. Coppola with many worries about pregnancy. I often had a list of questions. She patiently listened to all of them, answering them simply but thoroughly. She never seemed bothered by my lists of questions. She was patient. She was comforting in her calm, quiet ease. She has tons of experience in typical hospital settings, as well as doing challenging work in a remote part of Africa. She is a great problem-solver and can act quickly in times of need.

No bed-side manner - left forms in front of us that showed us the sex of the child, when we EXPLAINED in detail we did not want to know. Front staff is appalling and rude. Gave them authorization from our health insurance and they kept denying it - when they had the information in black and white print! The WORST!

TMC wanted to schedule me for an appointment to have a cesarean and they strongly encourage me to have an amniocentesis test during my 2nd pregnancy (I was 37 years old then). I switched my care to UMC under Dr. Coppola?s care at my 36 weeks pregnant. Thanks to Dr. Coppola, I delivered my two children naturally and I was not encourage to have an amniocentesis test with my 3rd child at age 40 years old. Dr. Coppola has a special carrying for all her patient? She is an outstanding doctor.
