POOR COMMUNICATION
I HAD TO CHANGE DOCTORS AFTER SEVERAL YEARS WITH DR. BRUMLEY DUE TO COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS THAT WERE NOT ADDRESSED.

Dr. Brumley listened to my concerns and suggested a good treatment plan. She was also very attentive to the questions and concerns of my caregiver.

Didn't seem very interested
Overall I didn't feel that she was very interested in my health. The conversation was very much the standard questions and not much was discussed outside of that. I thought more time would be given to the results of my blood work too. I asked a question about my nose and I remember her saying she didn't typically look at noses, I thought this response was odd. My old PCP looked at ears, eyes, nose and was very thorough. I think she was ready to get me out the door.

Wonderful! My first visit and it when very well. She explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Her follow up and her staffs follow up was Fantastic.

Dr. Brumley is a Internist AND a Gerontologist! She has the knowledge and experience you do not generally see when you are looking for a complicated disease state primary care physician. Her special skill sets, enable her to treat more advance disease states with confidence and success, thus increasing her patient's outcomes. Dr. Brumley is quiet with her patients. This is due to her excellent listening skills and gentle empathy with her patients. Top of the line physician!
