I went to see Dr. Alexander over a span of 4 months for what I suspected and later found out to be severe endometriosis. She did not believe my pain and she did not explain my options for investigating my symptoms further. The exams she did were not only executed extremely poorly with little results that she could give (my first ever Pap smear underage was inconclusive) but were painful. When needing to go on medical leave for my school and get proof that I had been seeing a doctor for my symptoms, she did not want to sign because she wanted me to try a plethora of different birth controls after telling her I had tried 6 different ones for years and I did not want to go that route(went into surgery months later for endo and 3 other reproductive diseases at Stanford). Being a physician who acts this way is not only extremely angering but dangerous for patients who need and deserve quality care. So much more I could say, but I would never send any friends or loved ones to this physician.

Problems every since she delivered daughter
She didn't take any of my worries or fears seriously. I told her I have narrow pelvis. Her answer was you've already had one child your pelvis has spread. Once I delivered I had grade 4 tear. Didn't get anything for pain but over the counter. Which did nothing. I had terrible pain. Nurses were kind. It took me a good 6 months to year it felt to heal. I tell her how much pain I was in and still wouldn't prescribe anything stronger. She said I was healing beautiful and I tell her it's not normal down there I go to different talk to find out she did not stitch me up very good and I've had problems with scar tissue and inflammation, burning, and sensitive with my vaginal tissue ever since.

I thought I was having mastitis (again) during my post partum time...she got me in quickly to check if it was serious or not. She had helpful tips in addition to treating me that I really appreciated. She was thorough and took time to really make sure things were okay. She was great!

We had her when my daughter was hospitalized. When a nurse called to see if she would come talk with us-- she did not have time. When we had med issues she was yet again would not get the proper script. After we were dismissed I called because again there was a med discrepancy with the patch my daughter was wearing and the script that we picked up. The on call Dr the call center said she was scrubbing in to the OR and call me back-- 4 hrs later I called back. She had left. she wrote wrong dose.
