She’s very rude-rolling her eyes, huffing. She’s very condescending in her approach. Mentioned several options of treatments but wouldn’t prescribe anything said to follow up with local neurologist. We drove over 5 hours one way for this appointment. When she walked in the room she said, “why are you here” in an agitated voice. Then rolled her eyes when my husband said headaches.

For yearly visits, Dr. Cardona will come in to the room, send refills to the pharmacy and leave. If you can't get an appointment with her and it's an emergency and you schedule with her nurse practitioner; she considers this seeing other providers and will no longer see you or give you refills.

Dr. Cardona was condescending and essentially useless as my neurologist. What she lacked in helpful solutions for my migraines, did not come close to the deficit of even an ounce of kindness towards her patients. When my migraines did not respond to her treatment, she did not work to find a solution. Because I did not fit her model of treatment, she told me, at 18, that this constant pain was my future and to "deal with it." She then proceeded to fire me as a patient. I would not recommend her.

Dr. Cardona is literally the best at what she does. She has helped me tremendously with my migraines. I had migraines 15-20 days out the month and they were reduced to about 5 a month. Im so glad shes my doctor.
