Poor Office Staff
Dr. Webb is amazing, but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. It was so frustrating trying to correct misinformation. Most recently I called in seven times to correct an issue about when I was supposed to come in. Each time they agreed that the records showed I wasn't due, but they continued trying to get me to schedule and, eventually, declined prescription refills because I hadn't been in even though the provider agreed my next appointment was still six months out. They also rarely answer the phone and push you into text messages. I left the practice simply because it was so time consuming trying to get anything done. If they fix this issue, it would be a wonderful place.
What went well
  • Appointment wasn't rushed
  • Trusted the provider's decisions

  • Difficult to schedule appointment

Dr. Wells is the best doctor I’ve seen by far. He is kind, understanding, professional and he very thoroughly explained how allergens were effecting my breathing. I was told by another allergy physician that I had no allergies although I continued to have allergy symptoms that were severe and interfered with my breathing. I visited the ER 5 times in 4 months for this problem and left feeling as though no one knew what was wrong with me. I had multiple inhalers, antibiotics, nose sprays prescribed with great cost but no good results. I had doctors tell me they didn’t know what else they could do to help me and ask me if I was a nervous person and afraid of something. This went on for nearly 2 years. I finally got out of Pueblo and called Dr. Webb’s office. He recommended intradermal allergy testing, found many allergies and that I was seriously allergic to mold, which had been growing on the side of my home! I finally felt understood and very angry regarding my previous care.

I visited this practice to confirm that the over-the-counter allergy medicine I had chosen was okay for my symptoms.. During our consult Dr. Webb told me he was going to do an allergy test and explained the process, but never disclosed that there would be an additional charge, or what the cost would be. It ended up costing me $500 out of pocket and if they would have told me that ahead of time I would have said no. Their billing and office staff were condescending and rude when I called.

Saw Dr. Webb only once but I felt like I got more out of the visit than the next 3 best doctors that I've ever seen combined. He was easily the most thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuine doctor I can recall ever seeing. He's the type of doctor that goes out of his way to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of his patients. Office seemed perhaps a tad unorganized but easy to overlook. And may as well because Dr. Webb is the type of doctor that is genuinely concerned about the health of patients.

Dr. Webb is the kind of doctor we are all looking for: knowledgeable, caring, thorough and conscientious. Not only is he a wonderful allergist, but an excellent immunologist, as well. I have had Dr. Webb as my allergy and immunology doctor for over 6 years. I feel VERY lucky!!

My experience with Dr Webb was fine, however, his billing department is degrading and rude. I trie to call in the full amount of what I owed to Dr Webb and the biller Alex (female) was extremely rude to me. The reason my bill was behind was because I was having to take care of my sick Mom until she died. I did give them a payment and explained my situation to them. Then all I tried to do was call in my complete payment to them & I was treated like dirt. They have no compassion.
