Valentine's Day Disaster
Went to this provider at the urgent care at 11:00pm on Valentine's day for my 10 month old son who was crying in pain (not normal!) that vomited one time in the waiting room. I was concerned it was an ear infection due to sudden onset and no other symptom at home besides his screeching pain. He assessed ears and lungs then said baby was fine. I got no paperwork for follow up and pretty much felt dismissed. I said his cry is not normal. I drove to the ED, guess what? My baby had a medical emergency, it was intussusception. If he perforated his intestines, he would have required surgery and could have died. No thank you Dr. Quinones, not pleased at all.

Rushed and dismissive
He was clearly rushed and completely dismissive to us as my son and I tried to explain the pattern of symptoms that concerned us - after we waited over 2 hours in the waiting room to see him. A complete waste of time that left me frustrated and feeling stupid. 2 days later a “real doctor” found the ear infection that I was told was in my imagination as a scared mom. Totally irresponsible and patronizing - not to mention incompetent.

Dr. Right...NOT!
Took my 4y.r to urgent care to be treated possible UTI on Wednesday evening. W/O any improvement after 2days I called the urgent care to determine if I needed to come in again, Luis insisted we come in as he was not the pediatrician that originally treated her. Upon arrival, I explained that the topical ointment prescribed was not working and she was still in pain. He said there was nothing that could be done because the "labs" indicated everything was fine. He did not ask for another urine sample just said that the "labs dont lie." PERFECT! Unfortunately for Luis, upon arrival my 4y.o had to use the bathroom so the receptionist was kind enough to give us a specimen cup. I told Luis about it and asked that he redo the test. Turns out she tested positive for a UTI. Dr. RIGHT hated being wrong more so then he hates being doctor. Without discharge papers or aftercare instructions, we were rushed out of the clinic and before I can get back on the road the pharmacy called. 10ml antibiotics
