Dr. Melendez-Collazo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but has been in the area since 2002. He is married to Florida Medical Clinic's Internal Medicine physician, Yamira Soto, MD. He enjoys astronomy, history, poetry, weight lifting and gardening, in addition to playing with his kids.
