Dr. Luis Lorenzo, MD

Called on 2 different occasions for a refill on thyroid meds. Didn't expect not to be seen, but the 1st time nobody called me back for 3 days. After calling his office back they said he denied the request because i need to be seen, as he had never seen me before. No appointment was offered. 2nd time was yesterday (11-16-21) and this time it was the same response. He has never seen me, so i need an appt. This time they stated it was going to be close to 300 dollars for non insured. Here's the bg...my records have been at his office for over 5 years, he's been my primary for at least 4, but i only ever seen his PA. His office treated me for at least 2 years for the thyroid and his PA found a heart issue. They referred to me a specialist in Aurora who has also quit and they only charged me 160 for their visit. Their staff is miserable and their standard of care is a joke. Continuity of care...not going to happen here.

Brought in our 16 year with abdominal pain and he dismissed it as dehydration or cinstupation. Had to call his PA that weekend. She ordered an X-ray that showed calcification, still no follow up. Two weeks later had to rush him to ER, CT scan revealed an emergency appendectomy! No help at all from Dr. Lorenzo!

I highly recommend Dr Lorenzo, and his staff! If you are in need of a great doctor, contact his office.

This Doctor doesnt know a thing about family medicine. Instead of him diagnosing me I ended up diagnosing myself and having to switch doctors because he did nothing to help. Do not see this doctor. If I could do 0 stars I would.
