Dr. Luis Lopez-Benitez, MD

I was seeing Doctor as an out of network patient (but I have strong out of network benefits).Office could NOT provide me with a bill showing what I paid and the diagnosis code. Best they could do was the credit card receipt and then barely legible code scrawled in. Ridiculous!

Dr. Lopez-Binetz is the worst medical professional in his industry. I went there and paid my bill before I saw him. He could not do what his office staff said he could ( hormone replacement). They would not refund my money. I had paid with a credit card so I filed a dispute with my credit card card company. I won the dispute. A year later he sends a bill that I will not pay and he is sending to collections. Be carful of this guy. He is unethical!!

Great doctor!! After being a patient for 2 years I missed my 3month appt because I changed my phone number and didn't get the reminder call. I called today to see when my appt is and they told me I missed it. The lady on the phone mentioned I had a fee of $70, that I signed a form agreeing to it, and that I couldn't come back without paying it. This is the one thing I continue to do for myself even though I can't really afford it, so now has made it impossible to go back. I have to find a whole new doctor over now and I'll never be able to see Dr Lopez for treatment again.

I wrote a previous review when I was upset about Dr Lopez being pushy about unneccesary procedures and his whole Biote "hormone treatments" but the last exam I had with him, he did not push any of that so that was good. I was fine. Dr Lopez is fast and gentle if you are nervous and scared like me. I get really shaky and scared during exams but he's quick and gentle so you don't feel much of anything. I just wish he would accept and see patients who are trying to become pregnant or are pregnant. I just don't want to switch doctors if in the future I become pregnant but I found out that his office does offer care for you if you have fertility issues. :(

He may seem nice and gentle during exams, but he is extremely pushy with the unnecessary procedures. The first time I met him, he mentioned hysterectomy and I am a young woman who has never had children yet.. He has also mentioned to me to have a laproproscopy (spelling?) done and Biote hormone treatments that I don't even need. My Testosterone levels are normal!! I don't need to pay out of pocket for scary procedures that I don't even need.

Dr . Benitez is the best Dr in Las Vegas . Very recommend. Staff is very friendly .

At my initial appointment, I liked Dr. Lopez-Benitez, although I did feel that he was too quick to recommend exploratory surgery. However, upon canceling an appointment using their system more than 24 hours in advance because I found out that the copay was going to be over $100, I found out that they were going to charge me a cancellation fee, even though I used their system to cancel. This is completely unacceptable and poor patient care.
