After waiting for 10 months to get a new patient appointment with Dr. Chastain, I arrived the requested 15 minutes prior to appointment. I was asked by receptionist if I had filled out any paperwork and I replied I had online, but had a list of meds to update...she told me to just give it to the nurse as it would be easier for her to input it. She never asked for ID or insurance card. After waiting 1 hour I approached the desk to inquire about seeing the doctor and was told that he always ran 1 to 1 1/2 hours behind and it would be "A while". I informed her my policy was to wait 1 hour post appointment time only and if I couldn't see him soon I would leave...she couldn't strike my name fast enough off the list and said "Okay, I'll let him know. I'm sorry, but if a doctor knows they will be running 1 + hours late for a 10:00 appointment, then they are not the doctor for me.

Dr. Chastain is extremely knowledgeable, emphatic and thorough. I have never met a doctor this exceptional in my life. I live in NYC but come here for my appointments with him. The care is absolutely amazing.
