I have only wonderful things to say about Dr.Afonicheva. She urged me to get an MRI, even though my mammogram was negative and because of her, my breast cancer was diagnosed at Stage 1A. I literally owe my life to her. During annual checkups she's always attentive, patient and kind.

Terrible doctor. Only in for the money. Always rushing. Speaks her German language with office workers in front of you as if she is talking about you.

My experience was a nightmare. Afonicheva's MO is to do as little as possible and get as many copays as possible. Referrals are a constant battle. Every refill requires an appointment. Some of the information she gives about process was also just not accurate. For every medical issue I had I was required to argue for anything, where it was a referral, a test, an exam, anything. Even if I only went once a year to the Afonicheva I was still met with "why are you here" in terms of attitude.

I would not use this doctor if she were the last one on earth! She does not care about the well being of her patients and I believe she is just in business for money! She refuses to give patients their needed medication unless you comply with her every 4 month blood test request even if the medication does not require a blood test. if you do not comply with her blood test request she will withhold your needed medication even if you become ill from withdrawals. She does not care! .
