Dr. Lucy Safi, DO

This review is long overdue but Dr Safi literally saved my husband’s life! He failed his stress test and she worked her magic and got him in within days to have angiogram- his “widow maker valve” was 98 percent blocked. He was home that day . A miracle!

I'm a new patient. I went to see Dr. Safi because I need to start a relationship with a Cardiologist. My experience was great. Dr. Safi listened to me, asked a bunch of questions and explained everything in plain english. She ordered test to get to the bottom of my symptoms and followed up and explained the results. I trust her. I wish all doctor's had this bedside manner. I recommended her to my daughter.

I was having heart palpations and i did the recquired steps that were necessary to do. To start off, i had a tele health consult visit and she didn’t bother calling at all not even a notice that she cancelled. I have been waiting 2 weeks to get the results of my echo back and she didn’t bother calling with my results. I called and left a voice message and i was told that shoukd call me back to go over my results and she still didn’t. She doesn’t care about her patients and doesn’t care about patient satisfaction. Please look else where.

Dr. Safi has been my Cardiologist for a number of years now. She and her staff are knowledgeable, caring, accessible and the office runs like clockwork. I have recommended her to both Family and Friends. Dr. Safi is one in a million!!

For the fist time in my life,I have found a Doctor who listens to me and diagnosed me correctly. I have been suffering for over a year with breathing problems, I went to who was my Pcp, his answer was you are too heavy lose the weight. Although, that is also true,he failed to diagnose me with Mitral valve leaking. Dr. Safi spotted it immediately, I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and I am starting to feel better. I can tell you this about Dr Safi, she came highly recommended by Dr. Tiechholz who is the head of Cardiology at Hackensack Hospital. Dr. Tiechholz was my doctor for 12 years when he decided to retire. I asked him who’s talking his place. He said to me that it took him a yearlong to find someone to replace him and if I thought he was good, she’s better!! So happy with her. A true professional, feel very comfortable with her. I recommended her to two of my friends who wanted a change: she didn’t disappoint me at all. She deserves 5 stars.

After only 2 appointments with her so far, I am astounded by her immense knowledge and understanding of cardiology, and also by her honesty and patience in explaining everything in a simple way! Dr Safi is wonderful! She knew I had a past bout with breast cancer so she recommended future chest pictures to be performed with no radiation. I am so grateful for her dedication and diligence as my healthcare professional. She is caring and courteous and understanding.
