Dr. Lucy Lomas, MD

my experience with dr. lomas a few years ago was by far the worst experience i’ve ever had with any doctor. she scolded me for being on the pill, stating i should only be on it for 5 years max, and began pushing me to get an IUD. i told her i wasn’t comfortable with a foreign object in my body, and also my friends have all had bad experiences with IUDs. she then pushed the arm implant and i denied it for the same reasons. she invalidated my friends’ experiences and put me down until i started crying. for a woman that preaches about empowering women and offering them safe spaces, she sure made me feel judged and unsafe. my friends’ experiences ARE valid and my personal feelings are valid as well! i’m grateful for my new obgyn who is so kind, thoughtful, validating, and always asks what makes ME comfortable. she also said there’s nothing wrong with staying on the pill but made minor adjustments as my body has changed. thats how a patient SHOULD be treated, not be pressured to get an iud!

She prioritized my concerns, and approached my current health issues from a holistic standpoint. And recommended me to someone whom like her values pt care and safety. I am truly lucky to have such an amazing doctor!!

Very attentive and tried to get to the root of my symptoms

Dr. Lomas listened to my concerns and proceeded with compassion and empathy. Both her bed side manner and understanding of my chronic conditions were stellar. Top notch all around!

I became a patient of Dr Lomas April 2019. I explained in detail my history with low progesterone and miscarriage. I became pregnant June 2019.. i had an ultrasound and labs. Dr stated that the "labs were great". I started bleeding shortly after. She again confirmed that all looked good, not to worry. days later, still bleeding. When i contacted her at 9AM on a Monday morning, she told me to go to the ER to get checked. Not see her, but ER! i was having a miscarriage! Dr Lomas contacted me that night, and i asked her what the numbers were for progesterone. She stated "the numbers were within normal limits", i said i want an exact number. she said "6.2". 6.2 at 9 weeks pregnant, bleeding and she states all is normal. Everything i worked so hard at with my research on a good doctor and ensuring i did my part, communicating to my doctor! Dr Lomas did not follow through with her commitment to ensure the safety of me and my unborn soul. I pray my words save a young girl from that TX

I had been seeing Dr. Tack in the same office as Dr. Lomas and Dr. Tack was out for two weeks during my last month of pregnancy. I saw Dr. Lomas and she was very kind and helpful. When I went into labor she was on call and delivered my son via emergency C-section. She was calm and explained everything and every nurse and doctor who has seen the incision/scar says it's incredibly well done (small scar, no issues). She is now my regular doctor as a result.

Loved the staff. Dr Lomas was callous and boarded on rude. Would never recommend.

I met Dr. Lomas last week for my yearly appointment. She was kind, she listened and was helpful. Her nurse was a fill in, so I do not want to judge this substitute nurse. The secretary was OK, but I am not going to this office for the secretary, but the doctor. I would highly suggest her for your next appointment. My wait time was less than 5 minutes!

Dr. Lomas was a very kind and pleasant physician, however her office staff are extremely rude. The other issue is that tests are ordered that are not covered under insurance, and this is not explained prior to the tests. I did not even get a report on my results for over a month. I would not go back to this office again.
