My first Malpractice experience
Never met Dr. Guerra until this past Monday, but she thought she could fill in for my pcp and tell me how to approach my health in a completely non contextual manner. My appt started with a resident ignoring me telling her I’ve felt dizzy and that I had a pain in my foot. These two issues were never addressed.. I’ve seen this resident 3x and each time she wants me to go onto a medication for depression for sleep. I keep telling her I’ve not been depressed a day in my life and that my issue is anxiety. When my appointment was over, Guerra shows up and refuses to refill my prescription. I explained to her this is the worst possible time to experiment with my sleep meds for personal reasons, but she didn’t care. Knows nothing about me. In her after visit summary she said that she was present during my visit which is a total lie. Basically she lied about everything she wrote in her after visit summary. If she was doing her job properly, she wouldn’t have to lie. Run from Lucy Guerra.

My Doctor
I dislike going to a Doctors office but am so thankful I am under the watchful eye of Dr. Guerra. She genuinely cares for my wellbeing and that of my caregiver, wife. It’s hard to find a Dr with the patience of 1960 and the knowledge of 2023. I am thankful for Dr. Guerra!

As busy as she le, Dr. Guerra is attentive and thoroughl. She genuinely cares. She asks lots of questions, and explains herself equally well. She's top notch.

Excellent doctor Listens and cares But she is located at USF not Moffitt Cancer Center-- she used to work at Moffitt.

My experience with Dr. Guerra went beyond her being a wonderful, thoughtful and caring doctor eight years ago for me. I was terminal, but she treated me with the idea, I was going to live and I did. I appreciate her more than any words could say. My respect for her professionally is immeasurable. Thank you Dr. Guerra for all you did for me. By the way, I'm the one that you had me return to talk with your med students a few years ago. Since then I've traveled all over Europe and written 3 novels.
