Dismissive
I went in with specific concerns that she dismissed as anxiety. Was cold and did not at all listen to what I had to say. Eventually went to a different OBGYN and got answers and I actually needed surgery. This could have been discovered with her if she had just listened to what I had to say, I would not recommend her to anyone.

I was extremely nervous to go to the gynecologist for the first time for many reasons, including my strong suspicion of having a condition that is often overlooked by many doctors. I was also nervous because I am a transgender man and I was scared to have a doctor that didn't understand anything about that. From the moment I met Dr. Bucher, I was immediately put at ease by her friendliness and inclusivity and the way she listened to my problems. I didn't have to fight to be believed, which was a HUGE relief. I was so nervous and the first appointment went a million times better than I ever could have expected. She listened to me talk about my symptoms, talked me through different treatment approaches, and respected my gender identity the entire time. I've only seen her once but I felt so comfortable and I look forward to receiving care from her in the future.

Bucher was super thorough and spent as much time as I needed. Instead of scheduling an ultrasound another day, she got me in that day and then spent time reviewing it with me after! She explained everything in much detail and I felt I was part of her care team. After a bad experience with another local OBGYN (not with Ohio Health) she made me so happy I was about to cry. Highly recommend!

Not the best bed side manner. Did not handle my questions or concerns well. I left the appointment feeling more anxious and confused than when I went in. She is not my usual doctor but it seemed as if she didn't even bother to look at my history before meeting with me. I have had wonderful experience with other doctors and staff at this office though and do highly recommend the office itself and it's other doctors.
