Could not control his temper
I had been seeing Dr. Tamer for more than a year. During this period, he never said or indicated that he did not want to continue seeing me. I had an appointment with him during which I told him, truthfully, that I was feeling worse than at any point since I had begun seeing him. His startling reaction was to become progressively more and more agitated, as if he was angry at me for not having gotten better under his care. Eventually he declared that he would no longer be my psychiatrist, and peremptorily announced that the session was over. It might be said that there are times when it’s appropriate for a therapist to end a professional relationship with a client. I don’t believe this was such a case, but even if it was, the sudden, angry manner in which he ended it, and on the very day when I had told him that I was feeling worse than ever, would be callous and insulting on the part of anyone, and is completely indefensible and unprofessional for a psychiatrist.

I, unfortunately have had to see a psychiatrist for quite some time. I just moved back to Michigan and was in desperate need of a GOOD psychiatrist. I had the extremely good luck of finding Dr Tamer. He is the best Psychiatrist I have ever had. He listens, explains his diagnosis, explains what meds he believes you should be taking and why, and how they will affect you. He has removed the weight of the world from my shoulders and I felt better just talking to him. I extremely and highly recommend him to anyone who really wants to be properly treated.

Dr. Tamer is an AWESOME Doctor!!! He spent time with me and really listened to what I had to say. He was very open to my suggestions and was more than happy to trust what I recommended as to what would be best. He spoke with elegance and never talked down to me, as some Psychiatrists have. He is very respectful and understanding and is open about new therapies. I cannot express adequately in words just how "Cool" he is. Dr. Tamer, YOU ROCK!!!

Dr. Tamer was really good. He was the first psychiatrist I've ever seen and he exceeded my expectations. I had been suffering for 8 years and had tried counseling that didn't go well. He listened well, understood my problems, listened and answered my questions. Overall I am happy with the treatment he's given me. The only thing is you cannot be late for any appointments or else you'll be paying for it. But it's understandable seeing how the office is rather busy.
