Lowell has a horrible grasp of medine. Beware of this family practice doc. Why has he moved 4x in the past 20 years?

Dr. K has been my palliative physician for almost 3 years and PCP for at least a year. I have a metastatic cancer that will likely take me out at some point. He and his wonderful team have been there for me every time I've needed them. An excellent listener, Dr. K knows my thoughts on life, on death and quality v. quantity. He and a few other docs at John Muir keep me going there even if it is out of the way after my last move. You just can't find doctors like Dr. Kleinman very often. He listens. He consoles. He jokes (appropriately). He talks you off the ledge when your disease leaves you feeling beat. He works very hard to help one feeling as good as they can with whatever is going on in their body. I'm also comforted in knowing that if/when the time comes to leave this tired, pained body, he'll be there. I can't speak highly enough of the man.
