Incompetent, condescending and missed diagnosis
Went to the ER with horrible breathing issues and wheezing, also esophagus pain. Explained gut issues, and medical history thoroughly. Explained that I have taken several rounds of antibiotics previously that have caused several issues throughout the year, including the time I went. Completely dismissed my issue as a panic attack, and was extremely condescending. Refused to give me the right medication and instead just gave me an asthma medication that did nothing. It ended up being esophagus inflammation and throat swelling (silent reflux like symptoms) after allergan exposure and now being tested for auto-immune issues that present these symptoms (eosinophilic esophagitis). Obviously any person not able to breathe will be anxious, but I don't have any history of anxiety or panic attacks. He is a threat to people's health and wellbeing. Didn't even try to dig further than the surface symptoms. Should be fired. A shame to healthcare. A shame to Northside Hospital.

I had an ER visit in Round Rock today after a fall. Dr. Richmond was excellent! He was very professional, personable and caring. 5 stars from me.
