Dr. Louis Knight, MD

The best OBGYN ever, my DIL is pregnant so I decided to look him up and it says his office is permanently closed. I moved from Texas 6 years ago, was wondering if he retired? I was his patient for 30 years.

Didn’t take my situation seriously. Sent me home after telling me I wasn’t pregnant (even though I told him I had Several positive pregnancy tests at home!). I never felt so condemned; he looked at me in the eyes and said “well it’s negative today”. Two weeks later I had to be rushed to the emergency room because I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. It had burst, and I lost my left Fallopian tube. If he had caught it the two weeks prior I wouldn’t have had to experience any of this. Don’t recommend for young women. He won’t take your situation seriously or believe your feelings/pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Knight for about 30 years. He and his nurse Jerri are both fantastic !! I was not sure I would even be able to have children after he discovered my endometriosis. Thanks to Dr. Knight and what was at the time a new treatment for endometriosis I went on to have two healthy children - delivered of course by Dr. Knight. (Both by C Section) He put my husband and myself at ease with his bed side manner, humor and knowledge. We trusted him to handle whatever came along.. I hope I never have to see another OB/GYN.

Dr. Knight is an engaging and knowledgeable practitioner. His office staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would feel very comfortable recommending him to a friend.

Amazing doctor! First visit he welcomed us into his office too disxuss what the next 7 months would be like. He was very informative at every visit and we never felt rushed! The wait time was never longer than 10 minutes but he took his time with us in the room!! And he made delivery day easy as could be. Love Dr. Knight!!!

Horrible doctor. His equipment is very outdated and he has to send you to the hospital next door for a simple ultrasound. Then on top of that you have to schedule an appointment and take more time and more days off work to get a simple ultrasound. I misscarried and he yelled me and made me feel horrible and cry about it and I cannot believe how he had the nerve to yell at me. Because I missed an appointment for my ultrasound at the hospital. Most gynos have the machine at their clinic.

Great Experience with Dr. Knight. He is very caring, he listens and he knows what he is doing. My anxiety is always high when I go to his obvious nervous about my unborn child's well being and he eases my mind! He is very knowledgeable and knows how to manage his time as well as his patient's time.

Dr. Knight has been my preferred gynecologist for over twenty years. I have never had a problem scheduling appointments. His staff is always so kind and Dr. Knight has a very caring and understanding bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
