I am a new patient of Louis Coyle ( less than 5 months). I have found him to be an excellent listener, compassionate and of the utmost importance ( to me ), a physician who is willing to explore alternative options to the traditional drugs/pharmaceuticals when indicated. I abhor a physician who introduces him/her self to me as 'Dr. _________" and then addresses me by my first name: we're either both on a first name basis or we're both on a Dr. / Mrs. basis. L. Coyle. He is spot on here.

I was ambulanced to Maine Med where I had heart cath under the watchful eye of Dr. Coyle. In all my 70 years, I have never known such a patient-oriented physician. He listens with 100% attention to everything. He is empathetic & understanding of my heart health and so much more. He is an excellent diagnostician who shares many conventional, as well as holistic, avenues I can pursue for overall well-being. He is the BEST, other than my daughter who is also a practicing physician, doctor I know.

I truly believe Dr Coyle SAVED my life. He listened to me when no one else would, even when all my tests were negative. He agreed my shortness of breath and chest pain were cardiac and scheduled a cardiac cath in 4 days where I was found to have 3 blocked vessels. He referred me to a Cardio Thoracic surgeon and I had double bypass surgery 3 days later. If he had not taken the time to really listen to me and just went along with the negative test results I do not think I would still be here.

Rude, assured me nothing would go wrong. Still treating for wrong type of Angina. MMC can't even get a IV correct. Pain meds were all over operating room instead of in my arm. Ridiculous butchering circus.

In meeting with Dr. Coyle, it became clear upon talking with him that he is well educated and highly skilled in the area of heart health. Not only, is he well versed in the conventional aspects of treating heart disease, he is also knowledgeable in holistic alternatives and protocols. He is kind, respectful and has a warm presence that made us feel immediately at ease. We asked many questions and Dr. Coyle took whatever time was needed to address all of our concerns.
