My father is a patient of Dr. Nishimura. I accompanied my father to his initial appointment. Following the appointment, my father told me that he has never had a doctor who spent so much time with him and listened to what he said. I appreciated that at that first appointment we were not rushed. All our questions we addressed. Over the subsequent years that my father has been a patient of Dr. Nishimura the kind care has continued. Dr. Nishimura has a very pleasant staff as well.

I was a patient of Dr. Lou for over 20 years. Regrettably I had to find a new doctor when I moved out of state. I was spoiled by his friendly approach and always valued his attentiveness to my health and well being of my family. I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. Nishimura is the kind of doctor everyone wants. The attention and availability he provides his patients is amazing. He listens, takes care with diagnosis, explains disease process and treatment options, seeks answers, but beyond that, shows concern for his patients in very real ways. In caring for my 102-year-old mother, he made housecalls and -- though not her hospitalist -- visited her twice a day in hospital. He is especially skillful in sports medicine for my aging athlete husband.

I am a former patient of 25 years. I can't tell you how much I miss Dr. Nishimura (I moved 3 hours away). I always felt so comfortable, like I was going to see a friend. He is kind, compassionate, listened to everything I said. If this review allowed ten stars, I would give them. I can't say enough about what great attributes he has. I now go to a physician who doesn't listen, is always in a rush.
