Dr. Murray is the best cardiologist.
He is understanding and I appreciate that he is so intelligent and well educated (Harvard University). He is patient and answers questions and is not in a rush. He has a good sense of humor, too. . I like that.

Dr. Murray and his medical staff
Dr. Murray and his staff provided outstanding and timely care for me when I was visiting Phoenix. Dr. Murray took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns and made sure that I received appropriate tests and review of results within my narrow time frame in Phoenix. His staff was friendly and very helpful!

Excellent Cardiologist
The exams and tests are very thorough and detailed. The explanations and information during appointments is presented in understandable language. The nurses, PA, and Dr. Murray take the time to answer questions and not rush the time.Dr. Murray is more cautious about medications and will reduce or end medications no longer needed instead of maintaining or adding to. He is very positive when the processes are followed and successful.

Do Not Go
Had to switch Cardiologists due to insurance purposes. I have afib and have managed it for over 30 years. I had been on the same medication for over 25 years. Upon first visit with Lorne Murray , he took me off all medication without any testing. Said that because my heart was out of rhythm it wasn’t working. They kept scheduling appointments every 2 weeks but never saw him after the first visit, it was only a medical assistant. My health started declining rapidly after immediately stopping meds. I called everyday to report the changes in health begging for medication. The front desk lady would always tell me “she would forward a message to the dr and someone would be calling me back” no one ever called back. After a month of health decline, I ended up in ICU for a week. Eventually leading up to a stroke. Having to be flown out in a helicopter. Never getting anywhere with Lorne Murray’s office. The lady’s over the phone were extremely rude as well. This place was a total nightmare.

Amazing Dr
I was really scared having to see a Cardiologist at the age of 46, Dr Murray made me feel a little less scared. He ordered a bunch of test to get to the bottom of what is wrong with me, he isn’t like every other Dr who just said I have anxiety and I’ll be fine. He also has the best bedside manner I have ever seen!!

He's very nice, but ignored something serious.
I was referred by my pcp after a run of TdP in the hospital in January. Dr. Murray was very friendly, but it's like he totally ignored my Long QT intervals and TdP-blackout episodes that I kept having on occasion. My problem was clearly electrical, but Dr. Murray said I'd be wasting my time seeing an ElectroPhysiologist. So initially, I didn't.After 4 months doing some basic tests just to check for blockages, Dr. Murray concluded that I just have PVCs and it's fine. I kept telling him my symptoms and that it's debilitating, and he didn't have much to say. Something felt like it was being missed or brushed aside. It just felt off. Today I had my first EP appointment where I learned how serious my condition actually is, and that I should have been sent there months ago. I'm finally being put on a long term internal loop recorder to catch the rhythms I get into that can trigger TdP so I can finally be treated the way I'm needing. I don't think I'll see Dr. Murray again. I'm so sorry.

I went to Dr. Murray after seeing another provider I wasn't happy with. It was like night and day. He took the time to listen to me, ordered a CT scan and took the time to explain everything. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
