Zero Stars - Utter disappointment and frustration
Dr. Travis is a nice doctor and is knowledgeable. Unfortunately the office staff and management of the office is terrible. Multiple, multiple calls went unanswered, and messages went unreturned on multiple, multiple occasions. Multiple, multiple issues with getting the office to call in prescriptions multiple times. I'm going to repeat that..... multiple issues with getting needed medications simply called into the pharmacy. Multiple errors on behalf of the office staff. Extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. On multiple occasions I had to go to the office in person in order to get issues addressed, including my medication called into the pharmacy. So if you have time in your day to do such things that could be very easily handled over the phone, this might be the office for you. Do not recommend at all.

terrrible and yells at patients
The office runs incredibly slowly, as others have said you can be the first appointment and you're going to be waiting. And if you dare say anything about the ridiculous wait, they'll send her to scream at you in a waiting room. I only went to this office 3 times but I'll never go back, it still haunts me years later.

Been a patient for about ten years and I am very happy. Some of the negative reviews discuss things that happen at every doctor's office such as waiting in the lobby. Nobody likes waiting, but this office is no different. And clock watching? Well, there you have it in a nutshell: people don't want to wait, but want unlimited time with the doctor. Love it! Personally, I wouldn't trade Dr. Travis. I have friend who is a neurologist, and I still won't switch. The front desk is super busy and sometimes have to multi-task while they talk to you. That means they're probably looking at a screen rather than making eye contact. That's the new normal and shouldn't be confused with rudeness. Over time I've come to like everyone at the desk. They do a great job advocating for the patient.

The office staff is very rude and I can be the first appointment of the day and I still have to wait 30 to 45 minutes. The Dr wants you to be there 30 minutes early but then doesn't bother to be on time. Then when she does take you back she spends 5 minutes with you.

Dr. Travis / Phoenix Neurological Associates has provided me with excellent care for a long time now. I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere. The docs here are genius practitioners of course, but above all they are compassionate and decent human beings. I've been receiving services from Dr Travis from over eight years and don't plan on ever switching to another neurologist. I really don't think it gets any better than this place in terms of truly individualized, high quality of care. A+

Due to the fact my insurance changed placing me in search of a new Neurologist. The Lord answered my prayers when I found Dr. Lori Hendin Travis. Dr. Travis was extremely professional, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and listened intently too me. Yes, she ordered two test but as a nurse I know for a physician to treat a new patient they need certain current data. Dr. Travis came highly recommended by colleagues and highly regarded individuals. Looking forward to my care by Dr. Travis.

I felt like she was watching the clock the entire time I was in her office. I went to discuss chronic headaches and while we were chatting her phone rang and she asked me to step out and we would conclude in the waiting area in the back office. I truly felt like her behavior was unprofessional and that I wasted good money for the 10 minutes of her "attention". I will not be returning.
