Dr. Lori Defillipo, MD

Let me start by saying, Dr Defillipo is a wonderful doctor. We have seen her for several years and she is great. Unfortunately, some of the staff in her UM office made our last experience absolutely horrendous which is why only 1 star is being given and because of this, we will probably not visit again. We uploaded our documents and insurance information weeks in advance and flew in from another country just for this appointment, when we arrived, we were told that we had a $1,200 co-pay and we were being given a discount from the usual rate of $2,500 p/ mammogram. The office then lied and said our insurance policy had been cancelled and told us to pay or leave (we left). I called my insurance, they said no one from UM ever contacted to verify. We were lied to and I fell they were trying to take advantage of us. I then tried to file a complaint and no one ever responded. We were told by another doctor this is apparently becoming common practice here. I wish she would leave UM.

She lies and deceives. When a problem occurs, she blames the patient. She pressures you to have procedures. She I said awful!

Dr. Deffillipo is Amazing! I've been a pasiente of this Doctor for over 20 years. I will not go to anyone else. I've had many apportunitys to change doctors for varies reasons. Closer to home, my obgyn offers memograms and Altrasound's, but I won't. Dr. Lori Deffillipo is like family, she never forgets the name of your kids or what they were doing. She never forgets what line of work you do nor what when on my life In previews year. She's professional, and makes you feel worth. I love!

A wonderful experience! Such a kind doctor! Now my daughter is also a patient, and she is very happy too.
