Caring and Competent
Dr. Loftus was very caring and she took great care to explain my treatment plan and prognosis. I have complete confidence in her and her staff. I would highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for an oncologist who is extremely thorough and intelligent.

Dr Loftus doesn’t have time for patience No one returns the first call or email through Moffit portal You have to contact them several times to get a return call it e mail In just over a year I’ve been sent to two different doctors that had no clue why My stress level is so high Moffit really only cares about money not patience care

4 years ago my mother was going through cancer treatments and Loftus was her oncologist. She always seemed annoyed that we would ask questions and try to be involved in our mothers care. She does not make eye contact and has terrible bedside manners. Now my mothers cancer has come back and the first visit was the same, only worse. She didn’t show any compassion that this was happening and my mom felt very disappointed in her visit and care. She is wanting to change drs and Moffitt is refusing.

Very rushed, didn’t seem to be open to listening to my concerns, expected a lot more from Moffit Doctor. Not pleased! I have found another oncologist for my care and am pleased. In my opinion, If you want both a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I would look elsewhere.

Poor bedside manner, doesn’t listen and very aloof, probably was good doctor at one time but honestly looked burned out and it reflected in her demeanor. I think it may be time for Dr. Loftus to retire.
